Default More than Meets the Eye

So, this might not mean anything to any of you but I wanted to share in case it did. 11 days away I get my first big cock tease in probably the only thing that can turn me on more than a woman . This has been something I have been preying over like a starving fat kid.

    www.transformersmovie.com

There are some pics out there that aren't supposed to be yet but they look nice. I've also seen reports of games and merchandise right down to stamps.

And be prepared for a starwars like marketing scheme, almost every major vehicle manufacturer has tried to bye their models into this movie.

    Mast!

Have a good night folks. My weekend is about to get a whole lot better.

I was at St Mark's Comics in the Village in NYC a couple of days ago...and they had a full-on, oldskool, original, badass, cardboard standup Optimus Prime. I got tingly in my dangly bits like only a geek of a certain age can.

Mast, thanks for letting us know! I had no idea. Great...another reason for my friends to call me a geek!

As if all the Star Wars, Narnia, and Fantastic Four memorabilia I own isn't enough...

Christany.... the windows would be clear, and I'd have fake boobs in them and make it look like I'm not wearing a shirt.

I know a few people at ILM and you'll all be happy to know that Speilberg is personally directing the Prime v. Megatron battle that takes place in Downtown LA. You'll also see Don Murphy is working on it and will be amazed at the fight scenes.

The geek factor is jacked up a bit by the Danger Mouse poster in the background. Nice.

Mast, what would your Transformer name be? How about Flashertron or
Silicon-o-tron (that has a nice ring to it)

You act like I wouldn't have a well-thought-out answer for this.

My semi-related feelgood story of the year was, back earlier this year I was in Ft. Lauderdale Jogging down the beach. I was wearing a DragonBall Z t-shirt and this kid noticed it, switching songs I heard him tell his dad he noticed me wearing it so I turned around and gave him a thumbs up. And he FREAKED OUT. Thought I was Gohan. Hah I sat and talked with the kid knowing the stories as if I was Gohan and even signed Gohan's signiture for him. I mean, I dunno what the kid saw, but if that kid really thought he met Gohan, then I'm totally cool with making his day. Man I remember being a kid wondering what-if I ever met prime or whatnot... haha lucky kid.

You know what's interesting...I see a larger trend here. The baby boomers are losening their grip on popular culture and their kids are picking upi the slack. It comes down to coming of age and coming into carrers and buying power.

Thrash bands from the late 80s are catching second wind with fans, re-forming, touring and dropping killer albums. I got the inclination to look for an 87 GT Performer and realized there are like 30-40 year old men rediscovering this shit too.

Remakes of films that were out when we were young...King Kong, The Omen, Hills HAve Eyes. TCM, etc.

    ANd now, this...Dope!

Well there is a golden rule.

When you get an expendable income, you end up buying back your childhood at 10x the original cost.
