just a quick question, i did a really hard workout yesterday and my muscles are aching today. is it best to workout again today or to give my muscles time to recover? will i do damage to them if i workout today?

Depends on the muscle groups worked. No matter what, if you're aching, up your protein intake.
If you worked you back yesterday, do abs today.Just not enough information otherwise. Remember rest is as big a portion of your exercise as the workout is.

thanks for the help! i did a full body workout but it's just my thigh muscles that are hurting today, is it wise to stay away from working the lower body until the stop hurting or can i go ahead and punish myself some more?
full body workout? I'd rest. Maybe some light cardio. Go for a walk. You should always stagger your workouts.
