Did it hurt? You only got one done? Why not both? What kind of care is it going to need? We need more information!
I hope he loves it! Good luck.

It hurt for a second. I didn't want both done. EVERYONE is asking me why I didn't get both. I just wanted my left.
Conversation with lady:
"I only want one."
"Which one?"
"The left one."
"Just one?"
"Yes"
"Why?"
"Because I do."
"I have both pierced."
"Why?"
"I don't know"
"Exactly."
I need to clean it twice a day with special piercing cleanser.

Awesome! I can't wait to do mine. Does it hurt when you put on a bra?

I want my right one done but I'm scared! hehe
I love mine, although, half the time I don't even remeber they're there anymore. And kudos to you for knowing that you only want one because you only want one LOL!

I wore a really snug bra for about 2 days straight after I got mine. That way I didn't get any friction from a t-shirt.
Hmm, I'm thinking of getting a new piercing, just don't know what. I let my navel close because it was done crooked...I dunno.

That looks pretty.
It looks great! Sorry I couldn't go with; I was having a bad day. I should've met up with y'all anyway, it would've been fun!
did u get to choose the size and everything of the jewelry? i want mine done but i want mine alot smaller because my nipples are so small.
Congrats! I had both of mine done several years ago, and love 'em. They're hottt! Have fun with it!!!![]()
Wow, it looks great. I only have one done too!! I remember how bad it hurt so good luck!
I wanna get mine done so bad...
So far i have my tonge, nose and navel and two on ear ear... does piercing nipples hurt the bad compared to the other ones?? Or does it feel 'good' like all the others???

The ring can be smaller. I think I got mine too big too. Oh well. And oddly enough, stretching my bellybutton is hurting more than my nipple. Grrrar.
Mind you - I had NONONENO sensitivity in my nipple before the piercing. It felt just like skin to me. I didn't understand the hype over nipples.
And you should've come Yekhefah, my friend got her lip pierced, too!

Looks great Lilith! I can't believe how normal it looks...not swollen or anything.

Yeah, it didn't swell at all. Like I said before, my stretching of my belly button is MUCH more irritated than my nipple. o.O

I LOOOOVE my nip piercings!! Although no one told me you're not sup'sed to drink for 48 hrs...3 days in the hospital for shock (got em done at A&T Homecoming)![]()

Congratulations! Isn't it great? I got mine done a few months ago. I love them but I still worry about accidentally pulling or snagging them (NOT FUN!!!).
PS: My piercer recommended using a plain contact solution to clean them. Haven't had any problems yet.
Oh yeah, also, I did find a story on the web about a girl who had hers pierced, and ended up getting a staph infection from it deep inside her breast, and this resulted in her having a mastectomy! Not meaning to scare you, but... just remember to take super-good care of them! I don't remember where this was, but I think if you Google "nipple piercings" you'll probably run across it.
Contact solution? That doesn't sound like it would really do anything to clean your piercing. Hmmm, I'm going to look into that, it sounds wierd. I use a soap called Satin it's antimicrobial and moisturizing, I've been using it for about 7 years now and I've never had any problems, I even use the soap on my face, I love it!
Ok, this is what I found, it must be because contact solution is saline... When my piercings were fresh I used sea salt and warm water to soak. I think aftercare is one of those things that the piercing community still hasn't come to an agreement on.
Soak in saline solution and/or wash with liquid antimicrobial or germicidal soap* as described below:
1) WASH your hands thoroughly prior to cleaning, or touching on or near your piercing for any reason.
2) SALINE soak at least two to three times daily. Simply soak directly in a cup of warm saline solution for a few minutes. The longer you soak, the better. For certain placements it may be easier to apply using fresh gauze or a cotton ball saturated with saline solution. A brief rinse will remove any residue
.
3) SOAP no more than once or twice a day. While showering, lather up a pearl size drop of the soap to clean the jewelry and the piercing. Leave the cleanser on the piercing no more than thirty seconds, then rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of the soap from the piercing.
4) DRY with disposable paper products such as gauze or tissues, because cloth towels can harbor bacteria and catch on new piercings causing injury. Pat gently to avoid trauma.
I was told contact lotion works well by my piercer as well
