Oh well I wasnt asking advice... just taking a consensus... I will continue to use this method as it has doubled my earnings and most men happily ablige... as if they give me more they get a better dance. Overall I put alot of effort into my act on stage, and while this is an entirely different section of the workplace, I rarely get tipped for what some compare to ballet on the pole (tipping the stage is not required at my job), while others get loads of money because they jump over the rail and dance on guys in the audience, put their crotches in their face, pick up dollars with strange orafices, etc (yes I know illegal, but in my neck of the woods they dont care)... so they don't give me much "incentive" to perform a great dance in back for them, so I give them the chance to give me renewed incentive to dance for them prior to the dance, I feel it levels the field, as in the past two years men have gotten cheap and you can give an excellent sensual dance yet not get tipped at all. This way I know if I give my all I get rewarded for it. Call me a bitch, but at least I am self-proclaimed.

Ok let me say this again. The portion of the dance fee, 50%, 30% 10% whatever that you get to keep I DO NOT CONSIDER A "TIP" If you want to collect that fee up front or it is your clubs "policy" then that is fine with me and I have no problem with that.

As I said before if you are onstage and you are my type or I just like what you are doing I will unless I am sitting with a dancer and even sometimes then as well, walk up to the stage and tip you a few bucks, sometimes I let the dancer go up with it, if you are a fave of mine I will go sit by the stage and tip a bunch of ones. On the other hand if you are not my type and or you are just standing around up there or maybe on a previous visit you were that girl I had a bad experience with, for example you sat down at my table univited and then would not leave, then no I do not feel compelled to give you a tip.

After a lapdance, if you were not starring off into space, counting in you mind what you were going to buy with my money, whatever, the whole time, but seemed into it and I liked what you did, many times I will buy more than one to begin with. When I pay up (I have never been asked to pay first) I will give you a tip, an extra 20- 40 bucks depending on what the the total is.

I know you are getting naked, but that is the job, maybe your club has a lot of cheap assholes, well I am not one, but at the same time I don't feel compelled to tip "everybody" just because no one else is.

In a restruant or bar would you go around and tip all the other waitresses besides yours just because no one else was?

This is such a common practice in my club that nobody even thinks twice about it, probably because we ony get forty percent of the price of dances and V.I.P.s, so without at least a minimum tip it is hard work for little money. I usually don't ask for tips upfront for stage or lap dances, but when i'm in a V.I.P. i usually wait until half way through and they sweetly put it out there that the room is much more fun with a good tip, or i will ask upfront. I honestly could care less about looking tacky or greedy, i'm there to make money and with the club taking sixty percent of my 200 for a half hour it's kind of stupid and a waste of time not to ask. BTW i work in PA and have never heard anything about this being illegal but i could be wrong.
