    Default chairs w/ wheels!! argh..

Ok, so I just started working at this club and pretty much your only choice of where to give a lap dance is right there on the floor, with the chairs with wheels. I feel like I'm always accidentally moving the chair and I have to pause the dance to make sure we don't run into someone else or move the chair back. I looked around at other girls and they dont seem to have this problem. Instead, they look like little kitty cats- curled up in the guys lap and swirling around. Any ideas on how I can help from moving the chair? Do any of you girls have to deal with this too?

My club has this too--and I move the chairs all the time. I'm sure other girls do too and its just hard to see. The best thing to do is make sure the guys feet are firmly on the floor and that he keeps the chair from moving. Also, I like to kneel up on the guys lap--this gets your feet off the ground so the chair can't move. (Although if the chair moves when you're up there it can be scary like you are going to fall.) I think alot of it is just getting used to it. Good luck!

I found this completely hilarious for some reason But bear with me in my silliness, I may have a remedy. Rubber door stop wedges. You know those little triangle things you stick under doors to hold them open. I wonder if you could wedge them under the wheel to stabilize the chair. And so you don't look stupid carrying around some wedge thing, stick it in your purse along with your lipgloss. But if they're too big and cumbersome, get creative and find something that will work (napkins, table coaster, etc..)

.....I'm not even going to get into the obvious stupidity of giving laps on roller chairs. What were they thinking???

Once you get good at it I'm sure spinning around on them would be an awesome time (just watch out for spinning with drunk guys...BLAH!)

Just make sure they've got their feet firmly on the floor....or bump the back of the chair up against the table maybe......OR get the guy beside him to buy a dance too and place the chairs back to back!

Just a thought! Good luck hun!

My club has these too, I hate having to give a dance in one of those crappy chairs. I have no clue how to keep it from moving; I look like I'm the biggest clutse (can't spell). I refue to sit in the guys lap so crawling in his lap and then doing the dance is out. Good luck girl, if you figure it out let me know.

    Uh,

Usually it moves if you put your hands in the wrong place and don't maintain your balance.

It happens all the time, don't worry. Yes, the customer should keep his feet firmly on the floor to keep it from moving.

Also, if you are going to lean into him, try placing your focal point of contact (hands usually) on the ends of his knees or on the back of the chair. When touching the back of the chair, you will need to get a bit closer.

I hope this helps a little.
