Default A question on the semantics in here...

Okay, so it is not so much the semantics. I tried to search for the answer first but my problem is I'm having a cerebral flatulance and I can't remember what you call it when you use the first letter of words like ttyl (talk to you later) to communicate.

My question is this: Is there a glossary on here or on some other website that has a breakdown of the major ones so I can get down with the lingo? I've seen OTC a lot and I just can't figure it out.

    I'm sorry if I'm being a snert.

    Thanks in advance!

First things first, I love the terminology that you used in this post alone. It tickled my funny bone.
Acronyms is what you're thinking of. I'll have to find a link, never mind, here it is:

Thanks for the link; I added it to my favorites. Is there one specifically for strip clubs, however?

You know, that phrase was the only one I could think of to describe what I was experiencing and I was trying to think of a more delicate way to put it. I can talk like a pornstar but I HATE the "F" word haha!

I just did a search on acronyms, and here's the url for the thread I found in case anyone else is curious!

I don't know how to link just yet (sorry!) so just cut and paste!

here's an old list by way of J-Z:
    ass-c - alt.sex.strip-clubs
Air Dance - no-contact dance. Refers to the space between dancer and patron.
ATF - all-time favorite. Although grammatically incorrect, a customer often has more than one ATF.
ATM - a customer, as seen by some dancers. A customer as he views himself when he leaves the club with far less money than he originally intended. The objectification by the dancer of the customer as an money machine.
BBBJ - bareback blowjob, i.e., fellatio sans condom.
Bluelight shoppers - cheapskates who nurse drinks, don't tip, and wait for 2-for-1's.
DATY - dining at the Y, with the Y defined as the pubic triangle
DFK - deep french kiss. Saliva swapping.
Extras - definitions vary. For some, it's anything outside of club rules. For others, it's sex acts outside of club rules.
    FS - full service. Coitus.
HJ - hand job. Carpal tunnel hazard.
Friction Dance - contact dance, usually involving grinding.
GFE - girlfriend experience. Ah, the romance.
Mileage - the amount of contact allowed by a dancer.
Pervert Row - the first row around the stage. Sounds like a pejorative term, but the dancers I know like the guys to sit at that row, because it means stage tips. Beats the hell out of them sitting back at tables, nursing a beer.
PL - pathetic loser. For some, it's guys who spend too much emotion and too much money at a club. For the good-natured guys here, it's a strip club patron.
Raincoater. A patron who is the ultimate objectifier of the dancer. He's in it for the penis stimulation and leaves his half pint of the milk of human kindness checked at the door.
RIL - regular in love. Self-defined. A sad case. Well, sad for the customer.
ROB - ripoff bitch. Overcounter of dances, overcharger, objectifier of the customer. The reverse of a raincoater.
    SCL - stripclublist.com.
Table dance. Air dance performed even farther away.
WK - White knight. Usually a PL, usually an RIL, but someone who is there to elevate the dancer from her customary and expected need to hustle in the club.
YMMV - Your mileage may vary. The stripclub version of the Heisenberg Principle. Whatever your expectations may be, some dancers may meet them, some may not. The fun or frustration is in the quest.

Just ask - OTC - "Outside The Club"

Here's a few from this site to get you started - just ask for more:

    SC - Strip Club

SCJ - Strip Club Junkie - one who goes frequently

PL - Perverted Loser (an SCJ who believes the shit)

SS - Stripper (Shit, Slang, Speak, etc) - lines used by strippers to sell more dances

CS - Customer (Shit, Slang, Speak, etc) - lines used by jaded PL's used to get better dances

Ha ha, I thought OTC stood for "over-the-counter" for ages. I never understood what on earth people meant by it...

I went to the articles section but only looked at body stuff ::sheepish grin::

I thought OTC was ON THE COMPUTER! I'm such a freaking geek.
