    Default Deadwood anyone?

Anyone else into this show? I have an expensive, rather indulgent HBO habit, and with Sopranos once more on hiatus, I'm all into Deadwood again. It's like Shakespeare with lots of swearing and hookers. So any other fans out there? My only problem is I'm a little dumb and slow, and have to watch most episodes twice to get exactly what's going on.

LOL, I know what you mean, it's really hard to follow at times, still highly entertaining though.

Fine, fine Sheriff Seth Bullock (Tim Olyphant) is from my neck of the woods. I get hot every time I look at him.
I do totally "feel" Al Swearingen on his views.

I tried watching it but found it overly schitzo.

There is a movie called The Proposition out that might be interesting to you folk. It is the "old west" but actually in Australia.

Deadwood rocks. I read somewhere they might be cancelling it, too. WTF? This season has been great so far. I can't decide who is gonna die next.

and hey wait...Nick wrote "The Propostion"? This I did not know. I just knew he was in it....I'm waiting for the DVD.

I wish I could do Trixie in the butt for $2 bucks, maybe she's Jewish kryptonite.

I am totally addicted to this show! I don't watch cable, but I've been renting the DVDs. I have three Deadwood discs sitting right next to me as I type!

I'm only into season two, and I so want to see Joanie become a bad ass bitch! No one spoil it for me though.

As a side note, I danced in Rapid City, South Dakota before strip clubs were outlawed there. Visited the real Deadwood, and it is just a crappy little tourist trap now, but I did have the best bread pudding of my entire life there. Then I got the bill for $18 (all I had was dessert and coffee!). Good thing it was soooo good.

I'll have to post the photo of me and my travel partner in Deadwood. We bought those old timey western photos just for fun!

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

Yep, this is the last season and then there will be two movies, I believe.

Mr. Cave indeed wrote it; I was sooo envious when Mr. Wayward got to interview him at Sundance this year.

Yeah I went and bought season one dvd. It would have been a good purchase during our 10 month winter, but nope! Sitting in my hot muggy apartment, watching back to back episodes. Then I wander around work trying to channel Trixie. "Yeah, fuck with me cocksuckers and I'll whip out this pistol I got in my cleavage!" Very therapeutic.

On the Deadwood tip, I had a very bizarre dream last night that my club was IN Deadwood, and the cast of characters came and went. It didn't make much sense, but it was entertaining. I don't remember too many specific details, except that Swearengen was yelling at me at some point for not having a girl onstage. So. Yeah.

If only you could feed your enemies to Mr. Wu's pigs...

The one part that pissed me off was Kristen Bell's prostitute/thief character getting killed.

^^She really had it coming though. Plus, Veronica Mars obligations...And you should see that Mamet movie Spartan. I liked her in that one too.

I just read in Blender that Scott Ian from Anthrax (and that "supergroup" show) has a cameo as a bodyguard in an upcoming episode. i wonder if he shaved his crazy goatee?
