    John Frieda color glazes?

Have any of you used them? I dye my hair red and it fades so quickly. I only like to do my roots and re-dye about once a month, so I'm looking for something to revive the color in between dye times.

I know it's not quite what you asked, but I've had awesome results from Manic Panic and Directions hair colors without even bleaching first. It lasted a good six weeks for me without touchups and my hair usually won't hold a color for very long.

    DO NOT WORK.

Save your $10. I wish I did. All it did was stain a few tiles in my shower.

Exactly!!!!! I used one of the brown ones and it stained my tiles and stained my hands terribly. I had to SCRUB my whole shower for what seemed like forever and I literally had to exfoliate my hands for about 15-20 minutes continuously. I MIGHT have been able to live with that if it worked.

My salon offers real glaze treatments for about $30 unless you have super thick or super long hair....I've been plaaning on just getting that done to make my hair look richer and shinier.

I'm glad it wasn't just me.

I can't understand how it nastified my shower but didn't do ANYTHING to my hair.

The fact that they stained your shower tiles and didn't even work on your hair is scary....

makes you wonder what they're putting in there!

I gotta get something new cuz this shit is makin my hair nasty. Its impossible to style now and its all frizzy and icky feeling. I've never had to use hair serem TWICE in two days after washing my hair. Im not impressed. Im going back to Dove therapy shampoo n conditioner.. makes my hair yummy

I use the color glaze in blond/caramel, and it works like a dream on my thin, dishwater hair. It gives my mousey brown a nice warm sheen, and boosts the shine like crazy. I've tried lots of different products to find something that will give my hair silky shine without making it look greasy or stringy, and this is the best so far. As for the color.... well, that's just a minor bonus. I make sure to squeeze excess water from my hair before applying, and then put on a liberal ammount (about 2 handfulls for my long, fine hair) and then make sure to leave it in for at least 3 minutes. Havent had any problems with staining... perhaps that's only a problem with the darker colors?

I've used it. The one for blondes. No problems with staining, but I find that it leaves my hair dry and clammy. Doesn't do too much to improve colour as well.
