For those of you that asked about the dresses I posted that I purchased a while back. The lady has a few on e-bay. Also she has a myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/thepolkadotdress

Those make me want to pull out my sewing machine and attempt to gain talent.

Which brings me to my next question:
Guenevere, do you use a commerical pattern to make your corsets or do you draw your own? Because they truly are spectacular.

I wanted to say that I used to buy dresses from this woman years ago; and they are GREAT quality and beautiful!!! They last forever; she is usually glad to make any style you want in different colors, she has REALLY cool materials, and is flexible with different ideas you may have.I had two of her two peices, with interchangeable long and short skirts. The only reason I don't have them anymore is because someone radied my storage unit and stole everything a few years ago. She is SO getting my business!! Thanks so much, green!

I can design and make stuff, but I have an...um....."quality control" issue. In other words, the outfits I make are the same crappy quality as Leg Avenue stuff. Bought an outfit from them once....never again.
I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it properly because it's good quality material, it just falls apart right away or look generally tatty. I've been trying to make clothing for years, I just never get any better at it.

I reread my post and realized I did not specify that I actually *owned* about 10 of her outfits; but I had 2 that had interchangeable skirts(our club at the time required you to wear a long skirt/dress onstage)....just wanted to clear that up.

I own three of her dresses. When I get my dancing stuff I will take a picture and show what I have. I will keep her stuff in case I decide to dance again in the future. Her stuff is excellent quality. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere. However, I did have a problem with a lot of her tops being too big. If you are small chested or not augmented tell her up front. She made a lot of stuff for augmented breasts at my club because a lot of the girls there augmented. Also, if you are petite, under 63 inches, tell her up front as well. I would just give her my measurements if I were you. I bought one dress of her's off her rack and the other two I had made for me. She doesn't charge extra to make it to fit your body. Most of the time she includes thongs and garters as well.
