I think the name is cute but.. perverted. .. but still cute. lol

It was on the news again last night. The manager was so funny when he was commenting on it.

Clearly it's utopia out there! No homelessness or poverty or crime. The mayor has time to obsess over the name of a fast food spot!
Can't believe I hadn't read about that. I hear the food is good there but the bar isnt very big. Not surprising this happened given Jenna's troubles in Scottsdale.

Um, it's like just 'hot'. No, you don't just get it. It's like 'hot'. They offer body shots and the guys who work there? Boi toys for sure (sheepish grin).

I ate at the Pink Taco on Saturday (um, the restaurant). It was the second day being open and there was an hour wait for lunch. All the "see and be seen" people were there. It was like an episode of Nip/Tuck or something.
Anyway, the atmosphere/decor is fun and spunky! The bar is typical saloon style and seats maybe 25 or 30 people at most. I didn't notice any cocktail tables but they do have two patios. I think one is for the bar and the other for general dining.
The food: Great salsas. They served a rojo (general red tomatoes), chipotle (smoked peppers), and verde (green tomatillos) with hot, very salty tortilla chips that are freshly made. They make there own tortillas in house. You can see the little mexican girls making them. They have a pretty extensive menu with several vegetarian items too. I was disappointed that there queso dip was mixed with beans though. Reminds me of Chili's. I would describe it as Nouveau Mexican cuisine.
Margarita's were decent but over-priced. The bartenders were not overtly friendly but granted they were busy.
Of course, they sell tanks and shot glasses at ridiculously expensive prices.

I think it's a cute name. When I moved to California and discovered how popular fish tacos were, I had a similar fit of the giggles. They eat fish tacos all the time out here! Back where I come from, no one has ever heard of a fish taco and damn sure no redneck would eat it!
^^^^...
I'm sorry, but reading Yek's last post while looking at her avtar just caused a random fit of the giggles.
