    Default Weekend by the Atlantic

For the SWers who live near Atlantic City I have seen the new mall at Caesar's and it is beautiful. My favorites are Betsy Johnson and BCBG. BCBG has a 50-70% sale on. The Quarter at Tropicana is more beautiful and has some hot clubs and food choices from Zabar's style to fine dining. I still gotta check out the Borgata's fresh gaming addition tonight. I'll update tomorrow.

I'm gonna go there this month for my gf's bday. We're going to the Borgata. First time checking it out.

I checked out the Borgata expansion and new tower and it was sumptuous! Really beautiful and worth every penny. There's a new poker room and it was full! You have to jump on the wait list to get a seat. The Mixx was slamming and there was a half-hour wait to get in. It was just like being in New York except I didn't know anyone on the nside to get me in quick! It's a big beautiful two story space with sky/VIP boxes that look down onto the dance floor. You can't slip past the ropes because they're rooms not a section. Big beefy security but really friendly and courteous--to me at least. TY Michael! The music is a little 103.5 and a little 105.1 (NY stations). Theres even a live drummer to punch up the DJ's selections. Really hot sexy crowd. Half the dudes are sponge-worthy...if ya' know what I mean. The view from the rooms is breathtaking. They provide playstation and an internet hook-up, cray thick towels huuuge shower room and seperate toilet room. Wolfgang puck's has a rustic yet urbane decor and Bobby Flay's bring to mind Manhattan's 14th st style. I didn't want to leave!

I checked out 32 degrees at the Quarter in the Trop and it was also packed and hot. Much smaller space but easier to get in! It comes in a close second to the Mixx in hottness. Problems are the size the music mix and the sexiness of the crowd isn't quite as good. The restaurants are great.

All in all the flow for the night is better at the Borgata because you can eat at one of four world class restaraunts, gamble, walk to the best club in town and close it down, then walk to a very hot bar in the center of the gaming floor for an afterparty, then drag off to the bistro for breakfast, watch the sun rise and then collapse on thick yummy waffle sheets! You'll love it Vy!

I'll check out the beach bars too.
