I'm interested in checking out some clubs in San Francisco.
Do I have to pay the cover at every club I go to? Can I get in as a single woman or do I need a date?
Any info?
Some of them charge $20 to get in. It's a bit much for me now.
Thanks

Depends on how much time you want to spend in there. ALmost any club will let you sit in for while while you fill out an app.

What if I'm not sure about giving up my personal info on an app?
Do dancers always ave to give SS# and real name, does under the radar work exist?
Is is more likely to be free in the daytime, without giving up my personal info?
Possibly. I always tried to go during the daytime.
Under the radar work probably does exist, but I wouldn't trust a club that did it.

Every place will probably ask for ID but I dont think you have to give out your SSN. They also don't verify your address and phone.

Both clubs I've worked at had me fill out my name, address, SSN#, DL# and one had me sign a contract and it had my real name and stage name on it and they photocopied my driver's license. I was worried about it at first but I think it's just to verify you are who you are and to make sure you're of age and legally allowed to work in the US.

If it's a legimate club which strictly follows city and state labor laws, they'll ask for basic employment info like name, address, SSN#,etc.
Like Corsica said, I wouldn't trust them if they didn't gather that info.
