    Default sharing clothes???

hi everyone! my name is violet and I started dancing last week. I am doing ok but I really wish I would have found this site BEFORE I started dancing!

I looked through many threads and couldnt find anything about my question so I figured I would post.....

do you girls share yr dancing clothes?? I've only danced 4 nights and the other girls always tell me how much they love my outfits and stuff..... and then ask if they can wear them!!! I dont know how to tell them no without pissing them off and starting an all out catty bitch war. I dont want to be rude but I dont know where their pussy has been [or do I....?] and certainly dont want their slug tracks in MY panties!

does this happen to anyone else? why do they ask to wear my clothes??? I'm a new dancer and only have three outfits as it is, why would I want them to wear my shit onstage just to have me come out in the same thing 30 minutes later???

    ugh....!! help!!

I dont share my outfits with anyone. Well I lie.. there is ONE girl I will share my stuff with only because shes one of my good friends OUTSIDE of the club.

Think about it, you bought your stuff for YOU. I wouldnt put it past anyone to 'borrow' my outfit one night and just walk away with it and never be seen again. Nevermind what if it gets torn or something?

I dont share anything with anyone at work for the simple fact its mine and I bought it for me.

I used to share stuff... then things went missing and got ruined. Plus people will start to take advantage of you and walk all over you.

    Btw welcome to SW

I agree...I would only share clothes with someone who was a really good friend outside the club. And even then..I wouldnt share panties..thats a bit too personal for me

I never shared my stuff and i belive thats the reason i have all of it. If i loaned something out at all it was something i never wore and did not care about.

I dont share at all-but one night a particularly sweet dancer said I had a nice body(similar to hers) and went through all her outfits and actually GAVE me like 3 outfits just because she felt like it and said Id look better in them. Nicest thing a dancer has done out of the blue for me.

I only share clothes with one girl, we've known each other for a year and a half and I know her phone number and where she lives. With other girls I've completely traded outfits once we both just got sick of owning a particular one. But sharing panties is just icky, in my opinion.

Agreed agreed agreed. Don't do it. I only did it once and the girl would not give it back, she would actually wear it all the time during the same shifts as me. Finally I just said, do you want to just buy that from me? I got like 30 bucks for it or something and the lesson to never loan clothes.

i onyl bring the outfits i'm going to wear for the day. that way i can say, and be honest, "sorry, i only brought what i'm going to wear" i've let a couple new girls borrow a garter or some shorts here and there when they didnt have anything in "dress code" but i try not to do it too often.

Sharing will cause more cattiness in the long run because if you lend something out and they "lose" it, stretch it out, get it stained, whatever, that will cause a fight. Just put a smile on your face and say "sorry, I can't". That's it, it's your stuff, if they want/need something they can go buy it themselves just like you bought your stuff.

thank you!! I thought that I was being a bitch by not wanting other girls to wear my clothes! I could just imagine them ripping or stretching them or something you know?

I guess there really isnt a nice way to tell them no but it wont be as bad as if I loan them something and it gets fucked up!

I only bring what I'm going to wear that night anyway. Everyone at my club sees my little duffel bag and knows I don't have any more clothes in there. That way I never have to worry about it. I've actually had girls ask to borrow underwear before! No, thank you. I only brought what I'm wearing.

Only with close friends. But I would NEVER share my panties!! I don't care if the girl's a virgin. It just grosses my out. Only my vagina can touch my panties!! I usually just tell girls that I'm weird about sharing clothes if they ask to borrow something.

I might share clothes if I liked the girl a lot. I would never share panties, panty hose, hairbrushes, eyeliner or mascara. Oh and I only bring one pair of shoes with me because they are very formed to my feet.

NEVER.. and to repeat again.. once stuff is borrowed..its never returned. I can understand shoes being borrowed maybe.. but an outfit would just sound soo unsanitary..

personally..who doesn't have the lil amount of cash on them to just go buy an outfit or some simple wannabe looking thongs for the time being..? even if it's one outfit.. I've seen very cute bikini/2 sets ones in exotic dance stores as low as $10 ..

anyhow.. i would never share my outfits.. i dont think its all that bad maybe?.. BUT its just unsanitary to me.

Lots of girls don lend out clothes, if you just tell the other girls this they wont be surprised, its quite common.

I have never been good at sharing clothing or shoes... even in 'real life.' I take very good of my things and I would just be watching the girl the whole night watching her every move. I just can't do it... and forget about panties... I would pass out. LOL. Just tell them that it's a personal preference that you don't share clothes... or that you had a bad experience with a girl before.

Never let girls borrow clothes PERIOD! for reasons such as hygeine, cattiness, no returns, damages etc.

On that note, do not lend Mascara, eyeliner or any other products that goes near your eye as it is a great way to contract conjunctavitis - an eye infection! (even if she is your friend/family)

Dont share lipstick, unless you want colsores, flu or any other viral infection that can be contracted orally

Dont share make up bruses or any other make up equipment as it is unhygeinic and you dont want to end up with a rash that some one else has!

Dont share shoes/stockings etc or you may get tinea or the rest

    I am not a sharing type if you cant tell, but hygeine is important to me. Most of the time an infection is contagious when the carrier does not feel side effects - scary 8-{

Wow some dancers are really brave. If I asked one of the women I danced with to borrow an outfit they look at me like I was crazy and probably start laughing.

I gave someone an outfit before- I knew she needed it (she wore the same outfit everyday) and it looked better on her than me. I never got a chance to get it back because I left the club- but I wouldn't have taken it back anyway. Just seems like good karma to me.

its so nice to know that I'm not the only one that thinks that sharing clothes is just icky. I dont want my stuff stained, ripped, stretched out or "lost"! you would think that they wouldn't want to lend out their stuff so why would they ask to wear mine?

I never really thought about make up brushes and stuff like that but now I am!!!

thanks again for all the advice! why cant dancers be as nice as you all are IRL??? -sigh-

I usually give away clothes that I never wear, usually earns me a friend, ha ha
as for lending, I only do so if I am borrowing something of theirs and what I borrow, MUST be something that they care about. I love all my outfits or I wouldn't bring them in. I really only have a few girls that I even talk to and few of them ever ask to borrow clothes.
Other than that, no one really ever asks to borrow clothes and if they do and I don't want to lend them out, I just tell them that they probably wouldn't like what I have because what I am wearing is the best of the lot..

    Welcome to the boards, Industriwhore!
You will find SOOO much useful information here, for sure. It was a gold mine for me when I first started dancing. It still is.

On the subject, I have to say that the only two things I ever lent any girls never ended up getting returned to me. Now I never lend anything out. Same is pretty much true for makeup. I buy expensive stuff and I would be really pissed if someone stole it. Be nice when you refuse so they won't have a reason to get mad at you.

    Good luck!
