Well it is known for killing bacteria. So sure rub some on. Might dry out certain peoples faces though.

It dries out a zit with a white head. It burns it some how. But don't pop/touch it if you do it. Just dab it on the zit with a cotton ball. No need to put it all over your face.

I use it all the time!

I put it over areas that are prone to breakouts, or are broken out (i wouldnt use it all over, it is drying) and it clears it right up.

If the rare zit does occur, i pop it (i know i know, BAD me), rub peroxide on it, then put neosporin. Presto! No remnant the next morning

Baaaaaad idea to put peroxide on your face, especially hydrogen peroxide! My uncle has been blind for decades because hydrogen peroxide got in his eyes and burned them out. They had to remove his eyeballs; he got glass eyes about ten years later. I wouldn't fuck with it.

Clearasil and some other acne medications have benzoyl peroxide in them, and those are okay. Just don't get it in your eyes, and don't use anything stronger than what's already in the acne cream.

i tried using virgin coconut oil as moisturizer once and my face broke out SO badly. my skin was behaining badly in general at that time and i didn't know what to do, so for about a week i just cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide. that was all i put on my face.

it did clear it up really well. it will help get oxygen into your pores and doesn't leave any sort of residue behind.

BUT be careful of 2 things. 1) it will seriously dry your skin out. i wouldn't use it as a long term solution. and 2) if you get it on your eyebrows or hairline they will turn orange. (learned that one the hard way...ooops )

I use clindoxyl gel, which has benzoyl peroxide and a retinoid (sp?) in it also. I have really sensitive skin and it has completely cleared my acne without inflaming my eczema or making my skin peely. It's about 45 bucks a tube, but will last three months if you use it sparingly each night. I get compliments all the time on my 'porcelain skin', and it seems only I remember when it was a greasy cesspool.

You can get acne from excessively dry skin too (I know that seems counterintuitive). If you must use peroxide, I would recommend using a qtip and dabbing on affected areas. I've never been prone to facial acne, but I do have a bit of a problem on my chest and butt when I work (the chest, I presume from guys faces in there - faces are oily. I don't really have guys faces in my butt, though, so I presume that is from sweating or something). I use the cheap drugstore brand (life) cream acne wash on my body to keep it under control. Throwing hydrogen peroxide on your face seems like a bad idea to me.

I use hydrogen peroxide...I pour a little on a wash rag, wring it out so there's very little (that way nothing cand rip into unwante dplaces, such as eyes) and dap it on areas I break out on.

If you are going to use peroxide(or rubbing alcohal) after you apply rinse you face and directly follow with a moisturizer. Same goes for those weird acne wipes.
If you don't, you face will produce more oils, to prevent dryness, which will clog yer pores and make you break out even more.

Yes, it does. Its also great for getting blood out of clothes, and my friends and I used it (and Kool-Aid powder) all the time to "dye" (lighten) our hair when we were kids.
