    Default Help! The Knees

    Hello,
I know I told you guys I was gonna give up the pole, but I'm sure most of you thought I was lying, and I am gonna give up, after this...

Does anyone know how to do the knees? You know that trick where you wrap your knees around the pole and you lay out sideways. Gosh I gotta do that trick, and then I can quit. I got the just of how to do that trick. I'm some what competive, and the other girls think that since I said was gonna stop working the pole, they're doper than me or something.

Had to let them know I'm still dope. I just feel like if I learn this trick, and do it a few times, that I'll cement my place in dope pole hall of fame.

I think there are a lot of pole tricks like you described. Do you have a picture of what you are talking about?

um... I will try and get one, but Pantera does this trick on pole tricks 101.
I thought I'd just ask and see if anyone can provide some different insight.

From what it sounds like, here's the one I know how to do that seems to fit the description:

Grab the pole above your head firmly in your right hand.

Walk around it maybe once, getting a little momentum.

Swing your right leg up and bend your knee (this is where you are getting your friction).

You can then slide your right hand down a bit, and voila, sideways hanging by your knees. Some girls put the other leg straight out and do a "playing with myself" kinda thing with their other hand. Some girls cross their ankles. Whatever you wanna do really. Don't do this in pants or stockings. Be prepared- even though this doesn't really hurt, you'll be bruised on the back of the knee (from smacking the pole when you swing your leg up and bend your knee around it).

Ahhhh...I see what you mean. I do a variation of this that is more of a spin instead of staying there all stationary. It starts out the same with wrapping my leg around the pole but I tuck my other leg in more (sort of in a fetal position) and end up at the bottom of the pole. More often than not, I can extend my right leg upward when I reach the bottom so that my legs are spread.

The back of my knee doesn't hurt though...although when I first started doing that trick, it did somewhat. You can do it so that there is little to no impact on the actual joint and the friction happens on the upper and lower parts of your leg where those parts meet your knee. Much less painful.

I'll have to try the trick you described though. Sounds like it could be fun.
