I swear by dove for everything. Shampoo, Conditioner, Deoderant, Body Wash, Hair Spray etc... I LOVE Dove.
How the hell did my post end up first when it should be last![]()

Something's screwy today...I've noticed errors with thread and post placements all over. How the hell did my post end up first when it should be last
On topic- thanks for the tip! I will try that when the time comes to replace what I've got. One of my friends in highschool used a Dove bar on her face, and she had perfect skin. I just assumed it was because of her good skin that the Dove didn't break her out but maybe...

Woah...really? Plain ol' Dove soap? And aspirin? And $5 Hair pills? I smell a revolution...

Dove cleared up my skin! I have very mild acne but stubborn (little pimples, but a lot of them), but I've been using the plain Dove bar to wash and my skin has cleared without my doing anything else to it.
When I go off it (and I've tested this by switching to Ivory) I break out right away.
This is also working for a friend of mine. It's odd because I would think all the moisturizers in Dove would make us break out, but no.
Worth a shot if you have an acne problem, as these bars are soo cheap.![]()
ive never tried that, but i definitly will now! thanx for the tip
It must be the Dove products cause i just got the gentle exfoliant body wash and my shoulder & leg "problems" are cleared up. Maybe i'll try the bar next...

It's awesome and the best part is it only took a few days! I used to use Dove Nutrium and that worked okay, but the best is the original scented dove bar.
And I have tried almost everything out there for my skin.Go figure.
I am definitely going to try this! I have the same kind of skin that was mentioned, mild, little stubborn pimples on my jawline. I have tried almost everything, and while my skin has improved a lot over the past few years, I still want that perfectly clear skin. Definitely going to buy some Dove next time I am at the store!

I like Dove too. I bought the shampoo and conditioner at Costco and they came with hairspray and mousse. All good. Then I got their deodorant. it's a little strong-smelling, but doesn't rub off on my clothing and it works, so I can't complain.
I actually find that Dove dries my skin. It's still soap - so anyone prone to eczema or dryness should not try this.

I love Dove soap and body wash. I used to use their hair products (shampoo, conditioner, gel) but when I went to my stylist a few months ago, she asked me what products I've been using, and I told her, and she told me that Dove products are horrible for your hair. And I know she didn't tell me this just to try to get me to buy her salon products, because she only sells Aveda, and she knows I don't like Aveda products (I can't stand how they smell). I still use Dove gel, because I love how it smells, but I don't use their shampoo or conditioner anymore, and I actually have noticed that my hair seems healthier now that I've been using Redken products.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

I haven't tried any other products, just the bar. It probably would be drying for people with sensitive skin. Mine's oily and not sensitive, so this works for me. I want to say that as of today I am 100% clear. Dove rocks!![]()
I like their products a lot, but won't use soap on my face. I just won't. They have a great creamy facial cleanser that's perfect though. Cleans skin really thoroughly, not oily or greasy at all but enough moisture to not strip skin.
Their body wash is the best ever too.
I haven't been too crazy about their shampoos and conditioners, but maybe I haven't used the right formula yet?

Dove is actually really bad for your hair. its just a lot of buildup on the scalp.
The dove nighttime body wash is so insanely creamy. I just want to get into tub filled with it.
And apparently, it's time for bed. I'm getting weird(er).
I agree! I used to spend $50 on a shampoo/conditioner set, and have found that my $7 set from Dove does the same, or better, job! My husband also loves the scent, says it reminds him of growing up...I figure this means the girls he used to date!

Dove beat Kerastase in a shampoo test in Australia last week. o.O

wow-- so it's either really super bad for your hair (maybe it's just the conditioner then? the shampoo is maybe still really good?) or beats out the expensive shit.

I love the Dove body wash... it's the bomb... it leaves my body all silky smooth...
