    Default Guys Names

Whenever I work it seems like every other guy has the same name. For instance, I'll meet like 8 Bob's in one night, or 5 Rich's, or 4 Greg's..etc etc. The names aren't always common names. Either way, it's still pretty coincidental considering how slow the clubs have been that I've worked @ lately.

I had a guy last night try to give me a "fake" stage name.. he was dumb enough to leave his credit card bill with this first middle initial and last name on it... How ridiculous... I called him out on it too when He left...

I went up to talk to a customer once and told him my name was Lily, and he told me his name was Tulip. We had a good laugh; I didn't ask him for his real name and he didn't ask me for mine. I called him Tulip for the hour or so that we were hanging out. He was actually a terrific customer and I was sorely tempted to take him up on his offer of going out for breakfast (the club was closing when he asked me). It's the only time I've ever been tempted to meet OTC, but I couldn't do it. He did later tell me his real name and give me his business card, but I still think of him as Tulip.

I've had customers give me fake names before... They think they're funny or something.

I'd say I meet custy's with all the same names in one night, too... But I pretty much forget them as soon as they tell me. I have regular's who I don't even remember they're names. It's really horrible.

I have a customer that calls himself "Big Sexy." It was so funny the first time he introduced himself that I just had to sit with him. I just thought he was a funny guy, but then he started tipping me 100's for just sitting there (no lapdances at all). Now everytime he comes in he tips me 100's up to about $500 for just running my mouth!

^ One guy claimed he was named "Olaf" & I went with it. It paid off- he posted a nice comment about me on stripclublist.

I actually love having them make up "strip club names" and make it a rule that they must use this name at all times when I am around them at the club. It does make it all the more fun. It is also the way I turn the "so.. what is your REAL name" question on them...

"You tell me your real name first and then I'll tell you mine"...
    "Dave is my real name"
"No it isn't! It's Rodney isn't it? Dave is your strip club name!" (said in a cheeky tone/manner)

By this time they have forgotten all about persuing me for my real name.

When I used 'Shy' I would say 'hey my name is Shy' and I would have customers say 'hey my name is Timmid' (or anything along those lines) it was lots of fun

Whenever they start bugging about my real name I always tell them to make up a customer name for themselves. It keeps the converstion playful and most likely they'll stop asking. Sometimes guys will take a long time to answer when I ask they're name so I tease them that they're making one up, that way I can get them to laugh and open up.
