Fusion bonds - the kind they get hot and melt onto you, yes?

My cousin had those. Load your hair with conditioner/baby oil, put it under a shower cap, and get in a very warm shower. Fifteen minutes later, massage your scalp, and start sliding them out. The longer you are in the hot water, the better it works.

There is a chemical you can buy at a hair piece/wig supply store to remove the bond. Apply a few drops to the bond then use soft pliers or tweezers and gently pinch the bond. It will start breaking up and dissolving within seconds. Use you fingers nails or a comb to pull out extension and excess glue.

p.s. I have a bottle called "Plus EXTEN REMOVE" made by Apex. It is a keratin glue remover. I think it cost 10 bucks.

I used an acetone based fusion remover when I had them and it worked very well. It did not damage my hair at all. The product I used is called Quick off. You can order it online at

There should be someplace near you that sells a removal product. Check a beauty supply store or a hair store that sells bulk hair (the kind used to install fusions). I ended up buying this because the people that installed my infusion wanted to charge about $150 to remove them. They use this same product. It is by MegaHair and costs $7.75.

Lola's description of what to do is exactly right. Once you place a few drops on the fusion, it will start to crumble, then u can use your finger nails (I used tweezers) to remove it totally. I had my aunt help me but it still took about an two hours to remove it all.

    Good Luck

The acetone doesn't ruin your real hair?
