Of course the customers have an All Time Favorite, but I was wondering if any dancers besides ME has one. You know, that one girl you always looked up to for being so pretty, so sweet, such a great performer, etc.
Sooo I'll share first. The very first club I ever danced at was Roaring 20s in San Francisco. I was only there for 2 days in October 2003, but I remember meeting a dancer whose stage name was Raquel. She was curvy Latina with long straight black/brown hair visiting from L.A., wore a hot school-girl outfit and danced to oldies. I think the reason her memory stands out is she was REALLY pretty, but not in the usual "fake-stripper" way, and she was AMAZING on stage. Plus, I was the most wide-eyed, uninformed newbie you can imagine, and she was very patient, sitting with me and answering my million newbie questions: "is that your real name? how many days a week do you work? what do you think about on stage? how did you get to be such a good dancer?" I only worked with her for one shift, but I never forgot her.
Anyone else care to share?
