I am so so proud of myself! I went to the club, telling myself I'd be happy if I even made one private dance, and I came away with £80 ($147) my first night!
As SOON as I walked in, this other dancer, Carmen, was so nice; she basically told me everything I needed to know. Like, how it works at the club, the house fee, how the customers are, etc etc. Just stuff I need to know. And because this was my first time dancing ever, and I'd never given a proper lap dance before, she gave me oneJust showed me some of the things she does when she gives a private dance, so I could get a feel for what to do when I give them. I was expecting all the dancers to be bitchy, but I found most of them were so nice helping me out and stuff, giving me tips. A few of them (maybe 2 or 3) didn't even bother to say hi or smile at me or acknowledge my presence, but I didn't even think about them and I came away with a good bit of money on my first night
As for the customers, they were a lot more behaved than I thought they were going to be! It's a really nice club, and it's quite small too, so you generally don't get roaring drunks grabbing at you. Even if you do, one grab and the bouncers will throw him out immediately. Carmen told me they take that VERY seriously there, especially when dancers are doing private dancers. That was reassuring to know
Oh and I picked the stage name is Bailey. It's a good one when introducing yourself because I usually say "Hi my name's Bailey!"
They inevitably ask, "Hailey?"
"Not Hailey -- Bailey, like the drink!"
Of course they know that one
There's no way I'd have done so well if I hadn't read these posts here (I've been lurking here for a couple months and really started to read the articles and members' contributions over the past few days before my first shift) - so thank you everyone here! You're all awesome.
