Conjoined twins generally do not make it, especially in drastic cases like this. It isn't a two-faced kitten, it's two kittens sharing a body and probably some deformed internal organs. It takes drastic medical intervention for human conjoined twins, and even then they often die. I wouldn't say these kittens have a good prognosis.
I do like the name Gemini though. Heh.
This has happened before, believe it or not. After I clicked on the link and looked at the article, I actually thought it was the same one from a year ago. This article is also a year old.

it is possible for it live, although, I think it would have a better chance with two heads vs. two faces possibly sharing a brain..i saw a very interesting show on discovery channel (i LOVE that channel) about 2 girls, sharing one body...
it's neat how they each have control over "their" side of the body. They have learned to coordinate all their movements and even play sports!

So the girl who's head is on the right can't move "her" left arm?

right, each girl controls her side of the body. I think they also have seperate nervous systems, since they both have their own spine...meaning the girl on the right, can't feel pain on the left side (or pleasure)...
They do have horrible scoliosis though and have underwent surgeries to correct it so it doesn't crush their lungs. Overall, they are very healthy, well adjusted little girls! I think they even said that it's possible for them to have a baby if they chose!
crazy huh!?
