CCR is very regulars-oriented. You need to sit with guys to charm them so they tip you when you go on stage and when you're sitting with them. Different kind of hustle.
"She has written so well, and marvellously well, that I was completely ashamed of myself as a writer...But this girl, who is to my knowledge very unpleasant and we might even say a high-grade bitch, can write rings around all of us who consider ourselves as writers"
Ernest Hemingway on writer, aviation pioneer and horse trainer Beryl Markham
I have never worked at CCR, but from what I hear it can be a good place to work. You do have to build up a client base of regulars though to really bank there. I worked with several guys at my last job (the is main reason why I can't even consider working at CCR) who were regulars at CCR and they always spent some serious cash in there. You make your money by sitting with customers and talking.
well looks like ill give it a try as im currently only a few miles from there. know anything about the scheduling? thanks for all yoyr replies btw.
i hate talking...
going to audition this afternoon.
Good luck! It's supposed to be good money once you build up regulars.

do men around here prefer a conservative look or is this pam anderson hairdo good, i notice most girls look a little sweeter and not the dated bimbo look. its been my experience though that blonde big tit big hair bimbo always works.
Well in my experience in DC, they prefer a more demure look. They want more "really hot girl next door" than "super sex kitten". But by all means, do what you know. If the Pam Anderson look works for you then work it!

yes. nice nice nice people there. not huge money till you get regs though. and then woithout dances its all about the flirt game. i dont care for talking too much and i dont drink so i get bored quick. im going to try though it just takes a few weeks to get on the schedule. theres over 80 girls who work there and theres only 15 per shift. theyrs all beautiful too.
I had no idea that there were 80 girls working there. I do know that I have never seen any ugly girls. Most everyone I have know that has worked their has been really nice. Jordan, I am sure that you will do very well at CCR. The talking part can get annoying at times. I rarely ever drink either so I couldn't get into the party atmoshphere as much. The good part about it is when the guys are just handing you over 20's just to sit and talk them. I remember that I would come home from the DC clubs that I worked at, and I would not feel like talking to anyone.
do i need to do honey hut first on a wed to start? also looking into 2 places in philly. cheerleaders and club risque. would also like to do ggr.
Yes, you have to do the honey hunt. I was looking to go to Philly as well but I'm not sure if the commute is worth it. If you decide to go check those places out, let me know. I'd like to tag along.

sounds good.
The thing about CCR is that it's an odd club, located outside the real money areas of DC. The reason you need regulars is that there is no local money in that part of town. Guys have to make an effort to come see you.
Like most DC-area clubs (it's across the river in VA), it's a conversation club with no lap dancing, so your money is really all from sitting with customers. Not nearly the money at stage you will see at Camelot or even Archie's (God forbid.)
Also, you have to be really good at floorwork at this club. The poles are located at the four corners of the stage, so you can't do any decent polework at all. If you are not willing to get down and work the floor, you might have some trouble adjusting.
One thing about this club is that the dancers are very supportive of each other and there is a comparatively low level of drama. I was out with several of them at a DC club celebrating a dancer's birthday about a month ago and they could not have been sweeter or more supportive of each other. Nice to see.
