Ladies, pay close attention to body language. I know LuckiCharm posted something similar in another thread about it, but she talked more about the dancers body language. I'd like to mention about Customer's body language. I people watch some while I"m on stage to check people out, who I think is a good spender, who the other dancers are talking to, the high earners who they talk to, etc. One big thing I've noticed is that some dancers have been wasting their time with a customer that is not interested in him and you can totally tell by the body language. The customer has his arms crossed, has a closed facial look and looks away a lot when the dancer is talking to him. It's somthing that's intrigued me a little to check out to see if anything comes of it and what I've seen so far is NO! She'll end up wasting a lot of time with this person who isn't interested at all but one of those customers that doesn't say anything and doesn't make it as obvious as some and didn't make any money off them. Ladies, when you're talking with a customer, try to pay attention to body language, it's very important! I listened to a short tape in the car on body language and it's helped me in other parts of my life too. Body language makes up about 90% of all communication and verbal is about 10% of it. So, next time when you're with a customer and sizing him up, pay attention to the body language and see if you get that welcoming feeling or not. If you don't get the welcoming feeling, say something like "well, I just wanted to say hi & welcome you to 'insert club name' and hope you enjoy your time here. My name is 'insert name', let me know if there's anything I can help you with" and move along so you don't waste your time. I've seen lots of girls at my club doing this when they could be making a lot more money.
