    "Help a Stripper" Fund

I'm sure this has been brought up before but I can't help but bring it up again. I'm so sick of meeting men, telling them I dance and thier attitude changing to feeling sorry for me and wanting to help me get out by either wanting to give or lend me money or helping me find another job. Can't men just understand that some of us are in it for the love of the job???
Listen everybody. If guys want to "help" us "get out" of the business then I say we should start a charity called the "Help a Stripper" Fund. These guys just put money into an account, and every month we nominate a stripper that volunteers to be helped, vote for the one that needs to be helped out the business the most and give her the money accumalated for the month. Almost like American Idol for strippers if you want to look at it from a positive side.
I know it sounds like a crazy idea, but I feel like all this money that I pass up to stay in this business is going to waste. I mean, I'll take the guys money, they'll think it's to help me out but you better believe I will still strip once all my bills are paid. I'm in it till I want to leave, not when I'm helped to leave. I'm sure there are many girls that want to leave, this Fund will help them. Any ideas on whether and/or how to get this started?
And no, I'm not crazy, I'm serious! lol

If someone 'needs to be helped' out of a job they chose, I really don't think I should be donating to it. You chose to do it, you can get your own way out. I'm REALLY tired of girls expecting some knight-in-shining-khakis to whisk them away from stripping. If you want to stop stripping, live more modestly, save some money for a month or so and STOP. Don't ask someone to 'save' you when you (should be) make(ing) $5000 a month.

I think the point is more to funnel the intentions of the 'save a stripper' guys somewhere more productive. It would be tongue in cheek, I presume, but could also bring in significant $$.

We have a fund up here to help dancers with cancer, or ex-dancers that are struggling with it. I could see this fund going somewhere like that.

I remember seeing this comedy sketch! That's probably where the thought came from. Instead of making fun of it, maybe we should really do something about it. Hundreds of dollars are being wasted on dancers who don't want to be "saved". We should funnel those moneys it to the ones who want to be "saved". And no, it's not from our donations, this money should come from those men who want to "save" dancers.
It sounds like a crazy idea but with each dancer that is "saved", there will be less threads by these girls complaining about this business.

You probably need to be meeting men who understand the strip club business. Plus the more successful you appear to be (ie own a nice home , car, have money in the bank and financial independence) the more of a leg you have to stand on with men.

A fund makes us look needy and fuels the guys fire of strippers being losers.

^If you upgrade to a higher-level customer, you might find that he's a walking, talking, funny, engaging and particularly generous "Help a Stripper Fund." All by himself.

You can spot these guys very easily. They are respectful and funny, know the business, make polite conversation, listen, laugh, tell jokes, buy you drinks and food and spend a great deal of of money on you. All without making any assumptions about you or your life. There are more than a few of these guys on the site. If you are so inclined, they may take you shopping or on a trip or pay all your medical bills.

Now you have to understand that for the customer, this a calling. He has to feel it in his soul. It has to be part of his very nature.

Then he has to be invited to join. We have a special ceremony, complete with a blood oath, an open flame, some deep scars, an IQ test, physical approval by a dancer panel, a tour of Gulfstream V aircraft options, a briefing on the new entertainment deduction limits and classifications in the IRS tax code and a few physical tests of endurance, technique, sensitivity, strength, patience and intensity. And toys.

What this will do is save you from the rude, presumptuous, arrogant, annoying, grabby, pushy, clueless, boorish, persistent, toothless, smelly, handsy, moronic, broke, hopeless, chest-caved twit slumped in the corner with his greasy hair, shifty eyes, a half-finished Bud in one hand and a complete absence of a clue in the other.

Problem with a real "help a stripper" fund is that 99% of those that get the money to be "saved" will blow it over a weekend and be back stripping on Monday...

IMO, some guys crave the drama of being "Captain Save A 'Ho." There are many many men with an excess of cash & a corresponding excess of boredom & loneliness. Your job, fair stripper, is to give exciting & emotional purpose to his banal existence. They like being to attached to the fundage they are gifting to a hot young nubile creature in need.

& That's why you should take his money. He wouldn't piss on fire to put you out if you weren't hot, young, nubile & in need.

I hate that shit. I had a hispanic customer once tell me how awful it was to see me as a stripper, that I was "putting a bad name to all hispanic women". He offered to get me in school and pay for everything and made me feel so shitty about being a stripper that I went back to the dressing room and actually CRIED!! the manager kicked his ass out.

So sad that people need to put other people down in order to feel better about themselves. They all find it easier to place judgement on others when they should place it on theirselves. Trying to "save" us from this business makes them feel superior to us in a world that they are really inferior.
