I've still not gotten my appetite back...but no morning sickness, or anything like that. I feel great!! Baby's moving a lot and I'm so excited!!!
We're still debating on the sex of the baby...Scorpio and Makayla say a girl...I say a boy. I can't decide if I want to find out or wait and be surprised. heh
You're hitting your date really, really soon. Did you schedule your c-section yet? Are the in-laws coming down?

Good luck, ladies! Keep us posted.
MANY MEN WANTED TO LAY ME DOWN, BUT FEW WANTED TO LIFT ME UP
-Eartha Kitt
Oh man.. I didn't get my appetite back until just recently. Now, I want cheesecake, nachos, etc.. LOL My Doctor's happy that I put the 6 pounds that I lost back on. I figured I must have, because I've been eating the stuff above like it's going out of style. HehOriginally Posted by VenusGoddess

The C-Section has been "Unofficially" scheduled for August 23rd. It's an unofficial date, because the Hospital won't let the Doctors schedule C-Sections until at least 2 weeks in advance. I guess too many were scheduling, and either delivering early or later than the dates set, and the ORs were booked solid because of it. He's going to keep an eye on me until we officially schedule it though, because the baby has already dropped and he's really low, so he's getting ready. I'd prefer the date to be either before or after the 23rd though, because that's my Brother's birthday, and I'd like Hunter to have his own birthday.
The In-Laws still can't come down.. BUT.. My Best Friend paid me a visit a week or so ago, and was very upset that I didn't ask him about watching Delia. LOL.. I was iffy on asking him before just because I've never left her with anyone but Dan. But honestly, he's very good with her, and she adores him, so I don't think I'll have to worry (although I still will a little, because well, I'm me.). He's got his Girlfriend there too, to help out. I'm going to just start her off with spending an overnight there, and we'll go from there. I really only need Dan there for the actual surgery. I don't need him to stay with me in the room, but for the first night, he wants to, since I'll be having 2 procedures instead of just the one, so getting up unassisted will be tough for me, and I always refuse the heavy pain meds. I deal with Tylenol only.
I go to the Doctor's again in 2 weeks (August 2nd), and then we'll start the weekly appointments. He's going to start checking me on the 2nd though, to make sure that the baby's not trying to come out already. He doesn't want me in labor, at least not for an extended time, because of the risk of the uterine rupture. It's getting close though, and I'm really excited.
I'm also anxious for my swelling to go down. It's painful to walk because my legs, feet, and toes are like balloons. I actually cut my foot the other day on the crib when I was putting the bedding in and getting it all set up, and I didn't feel it. Pretty nasty cut too. Bleh! The Doctor told me to keep my feet up, but yeah, it's not like I can do that all day.
The wonderful joys of pregnancy, eh?
I've been craving apples and peanut butter. I have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In fact, I'm eating it now. LOL The only other thing I crave is red meat (usually it's ick for me...I normally don't like eating red meat...). But, there is just something about a nice, juicy Filet Mignon that gets my mouth watering. hehOriginally Posted by Rhiannon

As much as Joe wants to believe it's a girl (and as much as Makayla thinks I'm having a girl because mommies only have girls and daddies only have boys) I really, really think it's a boy. The cravings are SO vastly different...I just FEEL like it's a boy...but, I've been known to be wrong from time to time. LOL But, I just feel like it's a boy. Makayla, though, insists it's a girl and she's naming her Bella. I asked her what she would call the baby if it was a boy and she just looked at me and says, "It's ok, mommy. We can call him Bella too."It's down to you and Mags now.. One of you have to have a Girl! Boys are cool too though. It just seems like it's a year for Boys.
Well, I'm glad you found someone to help you out. I leave for SD on the 24th, so that would make it impossible for me to come down (WAH!!). But, at least you have someone to watch Delia while Dan is with you.The C-Section has been "Unofficially" scheduled for August 23rd. Yeah, I love when they say, "Just take it easy and rest as much as you can." I'm always like, "Did you hear me when I told you I have a toddler?" But, do what you can.I'm also anxious for my swelling to go down. It's painful to walk because my legs, feet, and toes are like balloons. I've actually got no complaints. The wonderful joys of pregnancy, eh?Well, the only one I had was the heat wave and the ever increasing body heat. LOL But, that's over. hehe

If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

hey ladies!
Just wondring when you both started to feel the babies movements i'm not sure that i have yet.
VG oh how i envy you! The morning sickness is still unbearable for me even though the docs have put me on anti sickness meds. I hate food all i want to do is drink drink drink.
Seraya.
Don't worry, Seraya.. Every woman, and every pregnancy is different. You can expect to feel movement anywhere between 16 and 20 weeks, maybe even later. It usually happens much sooner if it's a second, third, etc.., pregnancy because your body already knows what's going on. It'll happen for you soon, don't worry! Pretty soon you'll be hoping he STOPS moving long enough for you to sleep. LOL
This baby never stops. I don't even think he sleeps!![]()
I started feeling the baby move around 14 weeks...but, then I knew what the sensation was. With Makayla, it was around 16 weeks...and I first thought I had some gas. LOL
Morning sickness and all that other stuff has never been a problem. The worst for me was some upset stomach in the eve's, but that only lasted about 2 weeks and ended a long time ago.
Every one's body acts differently...and MOST women lose those first tri symptoms at around 20 weeks or so...so don't worry!! It'll get better.
And, yeah, baby moves, ALWAYS, when I lay down to sleep. It doesn't bother me now, but if it's anything like Makayla...it'll be a night owl...in utero and after birth.
BTW...Seraya...have you tried putting some protein in your stomach before you go to bed and then keeping some saltine crackers with a glass of water or 7-up by your bed in the morning? A friend SWORE that if she ate some cheese before bed and then ate some crackers and drank some small sips of 7-up before she got out of bed, it would help curb her morning sickness.
sorry to bump up a second page post, but i am SOOOO happy for all you ladies!! VG do you have a registry? i wasnt sure... anyways, good luck to all of you, i cant wait till your babies meet the world!!
Rhi, you think hunter will sing to me like delia does? hehe
