Default Risks of Dancing in LA?

I was reading the thread about dancing in Florida and how it can get pretty compromising. I just wanted to know a little but more about dancing in Los Angeles and if it is just as risky as dancing in Florida or if it just depends on where you dance at. If anyone from the LA area can provide me with any info on what it's like to dance around here I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanx

What do you mean by risky?
Risky meaning: someone will find out that youre dancing?
Or risky meaning: vulnerable to your safety?

Risky as in physically harmful (i.e. stalkers) and as far as giving "extras" (which I would NOT be willing to do). I recently went to my first strip club which was surprisingly fun and decided to look into it a little more. I have two huge concerns and one of them is with what goes on in the lap dancing area. I might go back to another strip club and see if I can get a lap dance just to see what that entails but reading so much about stripping has left me kind of perplexed as to what step to take next.

You can let as much happen as you want to. You can give hj's and bj's and give extras to every guy that walks in if you want to. Otoh, performing such acts can have a much greater price that just being physically harmful. Only you can decided what youre comfortable with. There are plenty of girls in the industry who dont have to give extras n such to make money.

    ^^^Very good advice there.

    Re: stalkers
You can get stalked from any job at anytime. Just because youd be a stripper doesnt highten the risks of being stalked. Every woman in any job should be aware of her safety. There is a great pinned topic in the Lounge I think you should read.

edit to wrap it up: There are risks of dancing anywhere in the country. Your safety and clear headed thinking is one of the first most important things about dancing.

So far what I've read from the links you've provided is that L.A. isn't really a huge money making city as far as exotic dancing goes and that a lot of it is full nude (which I probably wouldn't be able to do, looking more towards topless) and moderate-high mileage. I'm now wondering if decent money can be made at a topless club without giving out a ton of extras. Let me know if there's anything else I should know about this kind of job because it's starting to seem like it may not have as big a payoff as I thought. I'm glad I'm doing my research...

There's risks everywhere. I've heard of girls in Wyoming getting stalkers and girls in Vegas spending 20+ years never having a problem in their lives.
