    Default Clerks 2

Im not sure if anyone else on here is a fan of Kevin Smith Movies. I am though

and I went and saw clerks 2., dude AWESOME. the best hands down.

People were clapping and cheering at the end. Given its not for everyone. I will say the same thing that I said for "strangers with candy" ( which btw Im a huge huge amy sedaris fan. ) ...

Its more for the fans. Clerks was hilarious though.

    I totally recommend it !!

I would love it if it was more like the first "Clerks" than his other films.

"Clerks" (the first one) was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. A truly brilliant movie.

"Dogma" was OK, but I wasn't as impressed as everyone else seemed to be, perhaps because I have had 'irreverent' views so long that this aspect wasn't as striking to me. Plus I'm not a huge fan of either Affleck or Damon.

"Mallrats" had it's moments. "Chasing Amy" was disappointing, period.

Is the original guy who worked in the convenience store in this new version? He really helped make the film, I think.

I went to see Clerks II last night. It was good. My fiance(Troy) is a HUGE Kevin Smith fan. He absolutely loved the movie. Troy as even got to meet Kevin Smith and Jason Mews in Jersey. He won an invite to a party for Mews when he got out of re-hab. So we have on wall in our house that has a nice picture of the three of them together, an autographed collage signed by Mews, Smith, Walt Flanagan and a few others. Also we have a plagued poster of Jersey Girl, also signed by Kevin Smith. Needless to say, I make him keep all of his Kevin Smith inaction figures in the office where they won't be seen!!!I wasn't a big fan of Dogma, but I did like Chasing Amy. And yes they original Dante Hicks character is in the second movie as is Randal. It is worth seeing!

I'm going to try to watch Clerks I tomorrow. I tried to watch it years ago and either fell asleep or something becasue I know I didn't watch it all. So I want to see I before I see II.

What is funny is I was standing in line for lunch last week behind three guys in suits. They were varying ages but one was at least 50 and the other two weren't that much younger. The just looked like three stuffy lawyers or something. Then I hear one of them saying he is so excited that Clerks II is coming out this weekend. It was just so not what I expected these three guys to be talking about.

    its an amazing movie.

Trust me. The best part was on myspace they had this thing..well kevin smith had this thing that people that added them to their friendlist he would give them credit at the end of the movie

last night at the end of the credits there were 10,000 real names listed as a thank you from myspace.com

i thought that was pretty fucking amazing.

There will be the complete list compiled for the DVD.

Yep Tart, it was like that here in hick-ass Panama City too! It seemed like everyone waited on the Black folks to laugh, lol Once we four started cracking up, the rest of the theater was roaring!!! The donkey scene was classic, but Jay's "streaking/overcoat thing" was a riot!!!!

p.s. I just bought a new 3 pack of Bonnie Bell lip smackers. Everytime I hear an appropriate song, or better yet, the commercial for the movie...I whip my "chapstick" out, and I'm like "oh..." LMAO, rubbing one nipple while I'm applying my chapstick. I swear!!!, its funny as hell (at least to me)
