tmobile is amazing, dont know much about their sidekick.
T-Mobile, if coverage available is best. It's got the least restricted network. They really just want you month to month contract. They don't care if you use their service to browse the internet or anything.
Sprint has some unpublished changes to their network with their merger with Nextel. The 7pm nights is nice though.

I used to have sprint..until they merged with nextel and made my life hell. Hubby adn I have a shared plan now through T-mobile.... I can use it internationally and everything.. I LOVE tmobile.

thanks for the help. im gonna switch at the end of the month.

Sprint is the debbil!!! Eventhough Nextel merged w/ Sprint, I heard Nextel was the place to be. Do any of you guys have Cricket service in your area?

I have sprint and I hate it. The phone I have was the one the salesman told me was the best money could buy in that booth. So why is it that my reception goes to no bars at all even when I'm somewhere where it shouldn't be intereupted, like driving down the street. I have no reception indoors at home at all. There's also all these hidden charges and they are trying to charge me 9.99 per month for a ringtone, when I was under the understanding that it cost 3.99 for a few months. I've tried almost every company and this one is definately the worst.
I had t-mobile and hated it, i`m with paige on this one Verizon all the way. They have a 15 day trial policy where you can return in within those 15 days without paying the $200 contract cancellation fee. So i would say try it and see if it works for you. The most you have to loose is about $50 for used minutes and text messages.
Cingular.... love it!
But I agree, Sprint is the devil!
I'm pissed off at Sprint. I want to leave, but I need my nights to start at 7 instead of 9, as I live a couple hours behind my family and some friends. If my nights started at 9, it would be 11 pm by the time I could call them. So Sprint has me by the short and curlies right now, which is why they know they can treat me like garbage. I hate them.
Cingular has nights that start at 7
Really?? I thought Sprint was the only one!
I'm calling Cingular! Thanks for the tip!
No problem.. that is why Im sticking with Cingular.
Also, I heard that Verizon is coming up with this 'get out of your contract' thing and the rest of the bigger companies will follow suit! I cant wait to at least have options!!
In my research, right now, Verizon and T-Mobile have the best networks. Hands down. But they are also very laid back in what you do with the phone you have. I have free highspeed internet on mine. They know I do it, they've confirmed status of their network to me after I told them I modified the phone, however their customer service could give a rat's ass sometimes.
T-Mobile genuinely just wants your month to month business. Once you're paying, they don't give a shit what you do with the phone. THEY'VE ANNOUNCED THIS. Every reseller has documentation to show you: "We do not prosecute people who use their phone to aquire services that aren't available for purchase, or aren't being purchased."

i've had sprint for 4 years. no problems except ;i made two claims on my insurance and they dropped me for a year (equipment replacement insurance)
I've got 4 phones through sprint. The billing kind of messed with me when I first got the service, but I figured it out eventually. I think probably sprint is better for business, and it has a lot of features that I use with my business. that and the 7pm evenings is really nice, too.
Coverage in rural areas leaves something to be desired, but I have free roaming, even if I have to be on analog roam.
My Mom is on t-mobile, and she is happy with her choice, as well.
If you want to deal with sprint, skip the stores. They don't train their people at all. If you know what you want, just use the website to order your phone and plan. It will arrive in a few days after you place the order. It seems the call center employees at sprint are better educated and have more authority to offer discounts and the like.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

oh god, dont go to the sprint store. everytime i go there i end up mad. call center is fine like paris said
I had Nextel for 2 years. My contract ended and I switched to Cingular. Have had them for about 3 months now.... love it!!!
I had sprint, i hated them. They treated me like shit. I have t-mobile now, and they are SOO much better. Cheaper bills, less crap. Love them.
I believe you Dottie and you have my support
I've had Tmobile now for about...hmm, 5 years and always been satisfied with their service. I've been tempted to switch to Sprint because they have cooler phones (plus I would get a discount through my employer) but from what I've heard of the service, it's been enough to keep me at TM.
I used to have T-Mobile and I hated them. They would overcharge me for nighttime minutes when they told me nights were free.
Then they charged me $500 or something to cancel.
I have Nextel now. It's okay but I don't like the phones I am limited to using.
I actually really want this phone, but I think it is limited to T-Mobile only:![]()
i have a tmobile sidekick, i have had them for about 5 years and i have not one thing bad to say about them. they are really customer savvy and they are always helping me and giving me a new phone when something happens to mine. the sidekick on the other hand..not so sure you would want it, i am on my 3rd one because the buttons randomly decide not to work. (i have the sidekick 2 not 3) but try the 3 because it just came out! good luck!
I have Verizon now and it's okay. I used to have Sprint and it SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED!!!!!![]()
