Default Are updos considered "not sexy"??

Ok maybe I"m the only one with this problem lol but my hair is like shoulder length and layered. Well when I wear it all the way down, with my bangs and everything my hair gets in front of my face when I'm dancing and I can't see what I'm doing and I lose my balance. Maybe that's wierd, it's hard to explain, but if I were to do some really cute updos is that like a no no, or does it really matter? What about pinning it back from my face or something along those lines. Is it just sexy to have hair in your face, or will I be fine with it out of the way??

Updos can be sexy because it shows off your neck. Guys love neck.

I think they can be super sexy.. altho wear I work everyone wears hear down so its kind of expected

I did something at the weekend which looked super cute... took small sections at a time, twisting these, some tightly and some loosley then bobby pinned them to scalp.. again can do this very tight or more looseley, then repeat so its all over, can add diamante pins or a pretty ribbon/headband/wire at the front of the head.. think thats clear ish lol

I almost always think women look sexier with updos, especially if you have prominent cheekbones (think Angelina Jolie or nicole kidman) and a nice neck. It seems like women prefer to wear their hair down, but I think updos are absolutely more flattering to the face.

I did well doing updos. Most of the dancers at my old club wore their hair down, so I would sweep my hair up and let the curly tendrils fall around haphazardly. Men always loved it.

i posted a poll about this on the customer side and a very large majority said the prefered women with their hair down. they also voted very high in favor of hair past the shoulder length.

however, i think these are just "ideals". if it looks good on you, do whatever you want. my hair is short and red and i wear it up from time to time. i have never noticed it changing my money.

But, at the same time...when EVERYONE has their hair down...and EVERYONE is wearing a gown...to do something that makes you "different" is a great way to stand out.

They like the "ideal", but at the same time...they like to find someone who's a little different, as well.
