Money Makes Me Horny

you need to get acetone and soak them off. it takes forever at home so it's better if you go to a salon to do it. if you insist on doing it at home, file the nail down on the top as much as you possibly can to make it thinner and easier to soak off, get cotton buds and tin foil. soak a cotton bud in acetone and lay it on top of your fingernail, covering all the acrylic nail. get a square of foil and wrap it over your finger tip and cotton bud to hold it on there and keep the moisture in. do one hand at a time (duh) leave to soak for as long as required (every 10 mins check to see if they lift off easily) the acetone will start to disolve the bond, helping you remove the nail. use an orange stick or another acrylic nail to slowly peel the softened acrylic off the nail bed.

^^^Aprilleigh is right, it does take forever to take your acrylic nails off yourself. I had to soak mine in acetone for an hour and a half before they loosened up enough for me to take them off. Never again! You're better off just going to the salon and having them remove your nails. At the nail salon near me, it only costs $3 to do so.

definitely, save yourself the hassle and spend some dollars at the salon. otherwise, you'll just be exhausted at the end of it, and maybe even a bit frustrated. maybe just sit back, relax, have someone else do it!why work so hard when you don't have to?
with my acrylics, they ended up loosening a little bit over time. So the lady at the nail salon used a fake nail to pry around my acrylics...and she got them off. Maybe mine were a little loose because of all the dishwashing, getting hands wet often, etc.. If yours aren't as loose, just have them do the acetone trick.
Find a nice back to leave them in.
People are not ruled by their memories.
You should NEVER peel off an arcrylic nail, no matter HOW thin. It completely and totally ruins the nail. For a few minutes more, you can soak/file it off and save more of the nail.
But, it is less hassle to go to the salon and do it. And, while you're there...make sure that you tell them NOT to peel the nail off.
They did that to me on time and practically took the whole nail bed with it. OUCH!!

I just cut the tips and file them down as much as possible to try and blend in with my natural nail and let them fall off on their own.
I've had the lady at the nail place take them off by taking the edge of another fake nail and getting it under the edge of my fake nail and prying it off.
Ugh, this reminds me why I don't do fake nails.
Get a pro to do it, especially if it's your first time having them done. I've seen some ugly, painful wrecks from girls who tried a DIY.

Why not just get a fill?
Make sure you get Pure Acetone and soak them fingers in it.
A nail clipper and a file. And get some really good nail hardener to put on after the nails are off.
haaa... thats true... i could think of a few people i would do that too... maybe a couple dancers.... I don't think I'd wanna touch their backs anyways..Originally Posted by Mastridonicus

I put in a good movie. Fill a large bowl full of acetone and soak the acrylic away.
