anyone know of any good OTC meds for excema?
I have really bad excema everywhere and i mean every where. I find the best skin care products to use on my skin are those contaning german chamomile. It cures the itch and the excema dissapears generally within a day. If i cant find a product that contains germain chamomile i buy an off the shelf excema cream or dry skin formula and mix the german chamomile essential oil with it and this also works a treat. I am glad to hear iam not the only one tht suffers with excema. I hope this helps!!!
take care xoxoxo
Change your diet.
Any cortisone cream over the counter works great.

i have extreme excema brought on my touching things im allergic to such as certain lotions or creams.
here are some trick i have found over the years to help it.
sea salt soaks, help dry the rash out
also wash the area with antibacterial soap 3 times a day, for some reason this keeps it from getting worse.
Eucerin lotions and creams are a godsend they are the only lotions i can use, along with burts bees products.
hope this helps!
the prescription cream i get is generic and is only 15 dollars for a large tube of it. works much better then any otc meds.
are you near Mexico? I get mine down there cheap, but they are actually prescription meds.

^^ What kind do you get Emily?
Ive been using this homeopathic cream called Florasone. It helps keep the moisture in while great for depuffing the rash. I think I need something stronger though to stop reoccuring ones.

lucky duck
every time I go to Mexico, I stock up on it and Retin A
Omega-3 fatty acids. At least 5g a day.
5 mgs. seems like an awfully low dose for Omega 3...sure you don't mean 500?
