Default Advice for a Newbie DJ

    Hey Everyone

I am a new DJ at a very popular club and basically I want to be great. I know that comes with time, but I am trying to be a good actor ( as dancers are actresses )
What can some of you tell me separates the good DJ's from the bad?

Also I was wondering what type of interest a male nude / female nude type of play might generate if it is mostly done to great music

All feedback is appreciated. Thx in advance

Oh to be young with the dare to be great attitude!!! When you figure out that there is no "being great" in this biz...only surviving it.... then you will "great"!! Oh yeah, theres always the "when you can snatch this CD from my hand" one too.

My advice? Care. Don't be a dj who is only there for pussy, don't get drunk or high before or during your shift. Play cd's once in a while, play music the girls wanna hear and watch out for them. Don't be rude or crude over the mic and NEVER put the wireless mic in your pocket to go take a leak(they almost always accidently turn on). Have fun with it and don't let the job beat ya down.
