At my club, we're allowed to give lap dances anywhere on the floor. If there are empty tables along the walls or in corners, I usually walk my customers back there to give them their dances. It gives us a little more privacy, and it forces him to be more focused on me. Often this helps me sell multiple dances.
However, I've noticed that lots of girls will dance wherever the guy happens to be sitting. This means that other customers will see them giving a dance, and we all know that custys are more inclined to buy dances from (and give stage tips to) girls that appear to be in demand. The drawback (in my experience, anyway) is that the customer getting the dance is more likely to only buy one.
Which would you choose?
I know the obvious solution is to dance out in the open *and* get the customer to buy multiple dances, but that never seems to happen. :] Any advice on making this work would be very welcome.

All else being equal, I prefer doing it in the middle of the room. it makes the VIP more special and I'm lazy (less walking around...we're already there!) I've closed the sale, now let's get too business. Plus he's less likely to try the, "oh nobody's lookin!" gropey move.
You set up guys for later while you're working on one. To me it doesn't matter whether I dance in the open or in private - I can work with it either way. But I prefer dancing in the open because 1) it's a little safer for me and 2) it gives me a little more time to work the next guy
