    Foot/Shoe question

I have a slightly higher arch in my feet and it makes wearing heels hurt just that much more towards the end of the night, I've tried shorter heels and taller (7") and there's no difference. My question is this, does anyone know of a certain brand that would be more comfortable? I know for some shoes I could use an insert but I like to wear the clear strappy ones (goes with everything )
And I don't have the cash right now to have some custom made, I'm trying to save up to move down south.

maybe you can try an insert that isn't that big...or cut it to make it smaller so it won't be as noticeable with your shoes? i'm not sure if they have arch-part-only inserts...never seen, from my limited experience, dancer shoes that have special arch support. maybe you'll have to switch to non-clear shoes to help camoflauge the inserts? might be better to do than have a huuge stress on your arches...that might cause some problems with your feet down the line? i'm not sure...
maybe try making your own inserts...like a wad of napkins/cloth (and yes, i'm serious) that's somehow neatly adhered under your arch..or, this might sound really off the wall, get nylon fabric, fill it with sand, sew it in a little pouch, sorta flat, that'd fit under your arch.... somehow glue it to your shoe? althought that might end up feeling waay too uncomfortable or be too noticeable?

hope you find something that works

I have this problem too! I have an extremely high, unnatural arch and I used the sand bag approach...I just opened up a stress-ball and used that for filler. Gives support and a decent amount of comfort. It's tough to get it the right shape and size so I velcro-ed it.
