    Default cramps

I have never really gotten a regular cycle until this year when I went off the depo. Now I am having bad cramps. I tried pamprin and all that but it doesnt work. Niether does regular tylenol or 800 mg ibueprofen.

    Any ideas?

The ibuprophen usually works best, but ask your doc if you can get something stronger for when they get really bad. have you tried a heating pad? those work wonders too, and hot baths.....i hope you find relief.

Try some potassium and calcium. Helps me all the time.

Believe it or not working out while I have cramps helps ease the pain for me a lot, especially when other pain meds are not working as well as I would like for them to work.

and having an orgasm (needn't be messy if you give yourself a clitoral one) helps relieve them....but for me, there is the orgasm, then some initial cramping pain lasting three minutes or less after said orgasm, and then some relief.

Hot baths and raspberry leaf tea can help. And yes, orgasms!

I think I'll take a hot bath, have a hot toddy, and go to bed early. I have to be up at 4 am anyway.

You could try black cohosh or evening primrose oil. Probably find it in your health food store.
