    ??? about contact

It's been a very long time since I have danced & now I'm ready to get back into it... My questions ... when reviewing all of the message boards, I noticed everyone is talking about the contact. Can someone tell me what medium contact typically consists of. This is probably a dumb question, but back when I danced, there was NO contact at all. I Just want to be prepared so I know what to expect.

    Thanks ladies

In Phoenix its pretty much no contact. The floor dances (depending on the club) the guy can really only touch your arms and lower legs. There is very little grinding(again depending on the club).

My club is "light" contact. The guys are not allowed to touch you at all, and there is minimal grinding. Very strict rules!!!

In Miami, anything goes... Florida State Law says we "must underwear when lapdancing for customer", but there's no minium distance for fully nude. Most clubs ignore this law though, and grind away in the buff.

Definitely depends on where you go...that being said, at my club medium contact consists of some grinding, two-way touching everywhere but nipples and crotch. I see others bop around giving little to no contact, they hardly make any money. Then there are those on the other end...In any case, it is waayyy different then it was in years past! Good luck with your return.

Whatever the contact level at the club you decide to dance at, don't feel like you have to do anything you don't want to in order to make money. Usually, there are customers that you can reel in. Working on your hustling skills and or having a gimmick can take the place of high types of contact. However, there are places that are high contact where it might be hard to make $$, so then it's probably best to try a new club (after giving it a try). While each state, district, or, for that matter, club, has its own rules, ultimately, it will be easier to start dancing again if you are comfortable with the level of contact you are giving. Good luck!

I work at a club in upstate ny which sells alcohol, so light contact...very light. we can only take our top off on stage, and there are no rooms to get nekkid . while doing dances on the floor, they are not allowed to touch you, no grinding, and you are only allowed to touch their shoulders and legs (to lean on an such), no rubbing your crotch or breasts on any part of the custy's body

i'd like to think that in every city there is at least one no contact club. i live south of atlanta, and i believe 2-3 of the clubs do not require it, better yet, forbid it. i would def. do some research of the area and see what's the norm. go in and sit for a while. when i decided to dance(97-00) i found a club that was referred to me thru a close friend. i literally sat in there for 8 hrs. scoping. i mean i was lurking, i was in every dark corner, every space just waiting to see something. nothing ever happened. i worked there happily for a little over 3 yrs. never once was i propositioned, touched, or yelled at. and that wasn't too long ago. i believe you can find what you are use to if you invest the time. good luck!!
