Default Would you Dance in these Shoes?

What do you ladies think of these shoes? I'm a buyer for a shoe store and was wondering what you all think of the new Tip Jar platforms by Pleaser USA. Customers can put the tip in the slot in the sole and there is a portion of the footbed that opens up so you can remove your tips. They retail for about $70. Whatta ya think?

I like the idea but I hate it when customers grab at my ankles. They should put a chrome toetip on the shoe to discourage custies taking liberties with direct tipping.

Haha, good point. Perhaps we can rig up a device that shocks them if they touch you with anything but money...

I've been wearing them for a few months and paid $50 for the 7" clear ones with the black footpad and black lettered "tips". $70 is too steep regardless of the fact that it's a write-off.
I usually take the tip in my g then move it to my shoe. Guys see this and then want to tip the shoes. I love counting my shoe money when I get home. Always a nice bonus.

$70 for shoes is cheap Im used to paying anywhere from $70 - $150 for shoes

But honestly I find the tipjar shoes a tad tacky..

Lol Cally. I only meant that I wouldn't pay $70 when I can get them for $50.

I'd wear em if the shoe itself wasnt clear and a slip on. I like this one, though.

There have been other threads on these as well. Seems they're hard to dance in because they're soooo light.

i like the "Treasure Box" ones.. you can put money in from the top (you put the $ in through the insole), but theres not slot for tips or anyting. i just collect all my stage $$ in my shoes ..it really cuts down on bulkiness when i'm trying to find change or lipgloss. lol i've also seen girls put loose glitter and jewlery in clear ones to catch the light..

They'd be great for Vegas, but they're just a little too much for the club I currently work at. And I'm with Paige -- I'd much rather have the leather top with an ankle strap.

Well I wouldnt ever have worn them, but thats only because they are platform anyway. I think thats where you can tell I'm old school...lol. I like the classic stilletto pump, havent ever cared for the platforms.
