Do any of you buy your outfits online or do you shop at stores around your area?
I've gotten a lot of my outfits on ebay and also at the stores in my area. For me, I'm all about bargain... but I don't get junky stuff that falls apart. Now shoes, because my shoe size is dependant on how the sizing runs, I prefer to go into a store and try them on. I've found that everyone on this site has different preferences.
You can get good deals on eBay. I for one, have many things Im selling or have sold that I never wore into the club because I didnt dance long, or it didnt look as great on me as I thought.
I am the ebay QUEEN! I rarely buy anything for work from anywhere else. Why pay $100 or more for an outfit or pair of shoes, when I can get the SAME THING brand new with tags on ebay for $20 delivered right to my door?
Plus ebay stuff comes from all over the world...so I dont end up with the same outfits every other girl has(stripper clothes and shoes tend to be mass produced by area!).
I've only been screwed(paid for something that never showed up, or wasnt in new condition when it did) once or twice in all the years I've been buying (and selling)on ebay. Just check feedback before you bid...as long as they have good feedback, you should be fine.
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

I've gotten stuff online. Its alittle sketchy tho cause You'r not sure if it will fit or not. I got a outfit that fit right in the bottom not in the boobs tho. But My shoes fit good.

Check them out on BBB.com 1st. Even call them if there is no information...well there should be info on there. Check out the pinned topics in Body Business for links.

No, I learned my lesson about buying online. If it doesn't fit or it looks cheap, you end up paying for the shipping. I suggest going to the stores.
You can also buy outfits from other dancers. Often, girls get sick of certain costumes, some they'll even sell cheap. This way, you can try the outfit on and get a good deal (depends on the girl). I've seen this happen with girls who want to retire and make some extra cash. Shoes, however, you might want to buy new to preserve the health of your feet. Stores are good too, but many places that sell dancer clothes charge very high prices. I suggest you mix it up...if you see a great outfit in a store, one that you love, buy it. Keep your eye out for girls who sell clothes, and check online. Then, sell the outfits you get sick of and get new ones. Or trade with girls. There are many options to help you build up your stripper wardrobe, and it can be done slowly. Happy shopping![]()
Many of my outfits in my ebay auctions have either never been worn or worn once. As a former dancer, I decided I wanted to give back to my fellow dancers instead of throwing the stuff out.
With halloween coming up you're going to be seeing a lot of outfits by Legs Avenue and other dance costume companies. It's hilarious to see the girls get strippered out (and even I would not wear something OTC that is that close to showing my cheeks.)
Try the costumes on, and then remember the sizes and prices and order them online. Sometimes though, you can get it cheaper off the internet.
Also, if you're ever in big metro areas, like san fran, LA, or LV then scour the shops there for cheap deals. You tend to get ripped off if you're in an area that doesn't have a good demand for stripper wear and you'll notice that because of this your supply will very likely be crap.
