Default Im an English lady, looking to work ANYWHERE in the world, where should I go?

    Hello everybody!

I'm looking to work somewhere, anywhere in the world.

I was going to go to Japan, but through agencies, they're actually a rip off, and tie you to a stupid contract where you have to work 6 DAYS A WEEK! I actually want to see a bit of the country I go to. It worked out at about £1400 per month, for accomadation and floor fee's/club fee's. Going with my own accomadation, was in some cases cheaper, and I it would mean I wasn't tied to a contract. It's almost like a conveyor belt to earn cash for agencies and clubs, and not at all with the girls in mind.
Plus, it's a non English speaking country, and I'd be going alone!

I'd like to see Australia, possibly America too. I would love to know the best, most fun, most leucrative places to work...

any info would be fantastic!!!!! Club owners welcome to comment too!!!

Vegas is the Mecca of stripping for a reason. Go there and try out a ton of different clubs. You're accent would really set you apart. Also, you'd be close enough (what like three hours?) to hit up the Grand Canyon, and maybe you could fly to San Fran to work for a few days. Depends on what you're into doing and what time of year you're going to go.
You might dig Alaska if you're into wildlife and snow, (or work during the summer, though I think I heard Alaska is crap during the summer club-wise.)

Shoot, since you're so close, why don't you work Stringfellow's in London and then hit up their Paris club later on. If I was in the UK, I'd want to hit up a couple clubs in Ireland.

in theory you do. i know quite a few girls who've done it tho. 3 months on a turistic visa and dancing. it works in those states where you don't need any special licence to dance, like florida or california. it wouldn't work in vegas i suppose.

anyways i'm wondering how likely it is to get your ass kicked out. after all, cops do come to clubs. do they just look for prostitution? or they're chasing also illegal workers? if you have seen/heard something in this regard, please share.

It's easier and legal for you to work in Australia Just get a work visa and you should be okay. Just choose a city.... and go from there.

uk candy girl, they let any old mosse loose in clubs in Blighty now, and frankly going to vegas would scare the bejesus out of me becuase they are all 'proper' strippers!!!
And dont do japan, unless you want to end up with your head in some cement etc.
and also be careful because in lots of Europe stripclubs are synonymous with brothels, which although legal still might shock you if thats not what you intended!

ah, the old lucy blackman chestnut. 11,000 hostesses in tokyo at any given time and 1 gets murdered in 10 years and suddenly its moooore dangerous than anywhere else. pffft.

japan is as safe as houses. pity the dancing climate is shit and the immigration folks are all over it.

If you want to go to Alaska the summer is good in SOME places but there are too many summer strippers most places. If you want to go in the winter and make okay money ($3-600 if you hustle, but I swear there are girls who walk out with $100 every night) Reflections in Fairbanks is kind of consistant, and they have a dorm that's only $3.25/day. Call during the day and talk to Connie.

    Honto! (Japanese for "word!")

It is an amaaaazing testimony to the persistence of urban legends that Japan is regarded as more dangerous than, say, the US for dancers. I'd bet that a look at the actual stats would show that it is at least 10, perhaps a 100, times safer. Sometimes I wonder if those stories were started intentionally to scare away some of the competition back when Tokyo was unbelievably, never-matched-anywhere money.

As for "the dancing climate" being shit, I am not sure what you mean, but it certainly isn't as good as it once was, but there still seem to be good clubs there and dancers making reasonably good money in them. Very unfortunately, it is too true that there are major hassles with the immigration authorities on a regular basis these days.

in the last couple of years, the US Patriot Act and the publicity over illegal aliens working for US employers has really tightened up ICE enforcement thus ID checks prior to being hired. Today any US 'corporate club' is going to want to see a US driver's license or passport and US social security card, or a foreign passport and a WORK visa (student visas no longer cut it unless the foreign student is working for the US school that they are attending). This isn't to say that you won't be able to find some club that will hire you in violation of the US Patriot Act, but this sort of club usually has similar disrespect for other laws such as prostitution, drugs etc.

From a standpoint of working 'legally', your easiest destinations are probably other 'commonwealth' countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand. If you're up for it, there is also some major money to be made in Joberg or CapeTown SA - but safety issues do exist (which is the reason that earnings potential is proportionately high).

Can you elaborate Melonie? I've always wanted to go to SA, but, um, my safety's kind of important to me...
