    Default Confused, who's bullshitting?

Ok last night it was a bit slow at work and the owner and manager came into the club to see how things were going.
I got chatting to them as there wasn't much else to do and the manager asked if he could have a dance with me to which I said yes, (it was more £ in my pocket as I saw it!!)
I took the guy for a dance and he seemed really into it and generally seemed turned on.
At the end of the song I said was that ok for you and he said that it was fine (although he seemed a little suprised that I had stopped after one song), I asked him if he wanted another dance and he said he was ok.
When he was leaving he said I can see why people love you so much in this place and then walked off.
Later that night I went back over to the owner as again there wasn't a great deal going on.
I started talking to him about how I wanted to learn more moves on the pole and become a better dancer etc to which he replied well my manager said you are not a very good dancer.
I was a little shocked by this comment after what he said to me after dancing but took it with a pinch of salt at first. Then the owner started propositioning to me and to put it bluntly said that in order to become a better dancer I should spend time with him, hmmmmm
So what I want to know is who do you think is bullshitting? Did the manager lie to me about my performance and tell the owner that I wasnt any good? Or was the owner bullshitting to get me in bed?

    Let me know your thoughts

You should not ever dance for the people employed at your club!! They are both bullshitting you, the owner wants to sleep with you, let him know firmly that it will never happen, and let the manager know that you are not comfortable dancing for him. you shouldn't be at least.

Well I did feel a little awkward about dancing for him but with the place being so dead I thought it would be a bit of extra cash for me, besides they know exactly where things lie regarding them thinking they can sleep with me!! Ive already put them in their place in the past.

I agree with what candygrrrl said. They are both full of it.

Put-downs are a classic technique used by the most arrogant and power-hungry of men. Plenty of guys will subtly insult a woman, because many women in this situation will reflexively want to "prove" themselves to the male, regardless of whether they like him or not. It's very manipulative, but it works all too often.

The owner is clearly bullshitting you in order to suck up your time, or even have sex with you. It's a power trip. Ignore it or change clubs.

Some customers will try to use this technique on you, too. Always call them out on it and/or just walk away; they will probably try to fuck with you, get personal information out of you, or push your limits during dances (if they even buy any).
