Default first time at a club

I've noticed a lot of threads commenting on why guys don't buy dances at times, especially the college age crowd. This got me thinking back to my first time in a club when I was 18. Basically, we just showed up and suddenly were thrust into this world that we never knew existed. There was naked women as far as the eye could see. That first time, no one bought a dance. We mostly just sat there in dumb-struck awe and wonder that such a place could actually exist. The big part of the night was working the courage to go up to the stage and tip the dancers there. For some reason, we didn't dare get a lap dance. I'm not sure why. This is just something to keep in mind next time you see a group of young college guys not buying dances.

lol...I remember the first time I was in a SC....I was 18, freshman in college, had no idea what it was about. I was so dumb, I told the hottest girl in the place to dance for my friend, having no idea that such a thing cost money.

I'm still waiting to find someone handing out the Strip Club Rules before you enter the door. Not that I need them now, but others sure do.

Rules at the door would be a great thing. My first trip I had no clue what was going on either. Took me a few trips and finding this place to really learn the general ways to behave and how to relax. It's odd cause I was nervous as hell to (still get that way at times) when I went in. That could actually be a good way to start a night if you see some (apparent) noob come in. Just sit down for a couple of minutes and if it is his first trip explain some things. You will likely have a huge impact on how he behaves in the future and it should be pretty easy to sell a dance or two. Then again I could be way off base but had someone done that for me I would have been greatly appreciative.

God bless the internet! I do nothing anymore without researching the hell out of it. Saves me and everyone potentially involved a lot of hassle.

Fair enough. But remember that the somewhat older, high income customer who is a dancer's choice target tonight was once the clueless young punk who had no money for some dancer back in the 80s or 90s.

No need to waste time on tonight's young guys if there have no money, but there is no need to judge them, either.

LOL 1st club that I ever went to was in SD. I think it might still be there (Cheeta's?). It's on PCH at some cross street by the airport. It's next to the Dollar Rent-a-car lot. I saw it the last time that I was in SD and had to rent a car from Dollar.

I think the place only had table dances and I was totally freaked out. Literally sat there on my hands with a deer in the headlights look. I had no idea what to do.

Introducing newbies to the club experience can be an effective hustle. Its worked on me twice!

The first time I was ever in a club I was nervous as hell. After being there a while a very nice dancer introduced herself. I got even more nervous. She asked if I had ever been in the club before. I told her that I had not. I'm pretty sure she picked up on my nervousness and asked me if I'd ever been to any club before. I sheepishly admitted I hadn't, half expecting her to laugh or make fun of me. She didn't do either. We got to talking about the club and she explained the rules and pointed out the VIP room and explained the prices and rules for different dances. I wound up having a very good time, spent some money on her and always looked her up for some dances whenever I went back to that club.

The second time was basically the same hustle. The difference was that it was the first time I was at a club on the Illinois side of the river by St. Louis. I hadn't been to any clubs in a year or two and it was the first time in a club that allowed two way contact. Its late afternoon, I walk into the club and go up to the bar. Two dancers are sitting at the bar talking. One in her early 30's the other around 21. I sit at the bar looking the place over feeling kinda nervous about being in there. I wind up making eye contact with the older dancer and she comes over to say hello. We talk and she asks if I'd been in the club before I told her no and added that I hadn't been to any of the area clubs before. When I told her the only other club I had been at before was strictly one way contact she kinda smiled and laughingly told me that I'd been in for a real treat at these clubs. She took me on a little tour of the club showing me the private dance area and explained the different dances and prices. She also told and explained some of the rules and even a few points of ettiquette. Of course I wound up spending a lot of time and money with her that evening. She really made a positive impression on me that made both herself and the club look very good. She's the fav.

I didn't get a lap dance my first trip either. (I couldn't even if I wanted to because there were no private dances of any kind available). In fact, when I first heard the term "lap dance" the whole thing sounded rather unpleasant.

You mean they dance right there in your lap? Don't they wear high heels? My God, that sounds painful. Why would you let a woman do that to you?

Eleven years and countless hundreds of dances later they are my crack cocaine. Funny thing is, when I'm in a new club, particularly some upscale place, I still get those first timer jitters in my bones.

I first thought that the prices depended on how hot the girl was. lol

I always go out of my way to be polite in any new place, the only dumb thing I did was tell the first lady I got a lap dance from my middle name. Forever after that, she called me by my middle name, even when I saw her in the mall.

must say the pattern seems older guys are more experienced and lapdance afficianados, whereas young guys come in for a laugh, late bar etc . the younger guys i sit and chat with for a long time, whereas the older guys pay for more dances and less chat. sweeping generalisation but kind of true i think. young guys have a feeling that because they are young they dont need to pay and so merely come to ogle the stage shows and chat to the girls!
