Do you really make that much more than in another city of the same size? Could I make more than 350 a night on average in a non-contact topless club? I'm cute and have a nice body, but small chest. That's all. Thanks!
I dunno... I just got back from Vegas and I was pretty intimidated. It's definately a different scene... At least from San Diego!
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
what you have to realize is that there's SO many clubs in vegas now that there's a niche for everyone. I wrote in another post that you can be a as low as a seven, but honestly, depending on the shift and the club, I've seen fours.
some of the larger more packed clubs can be intimidated. try the smaller ones first to practice hustling in a "small pond" before moving into a bigger one.
Wehn the Crazy Horse Too opened here, they had like 10 girls from the Las Vegas club for the first two weeks. I was very intimidated. They were all gorgeous and aggressive hustlers.
I'm sure not all Las Vegas dancers are like that, but that was my impression. I'd have to be competing against Super Stripper v2.0.

Yeah, Emily, a shy girl like you who prefers to let the customers come to her .. .
bwah hah hah ahaahah!
Sorry, couldn't complete that sentence with a straight face.
hehe, Susan is right. I'm not shy.
I've thought about Las Vegas, but I figured I'd be working with a bunch of girls like me.
I actually grew up in Las Vegas and the place just generally scares me. I was a teenager and I managed to get myself in a lot of trouble. I can only imagine now.

I think it's the number of girls that scares people. While not every girl working here is a 10 or even a 6 for that matter, I can see how coming from another city and working with a club with over 100 girls on a shift can be intimidating
i felt intimidating when i first started dancing in vegas since there are over 100 girls at nights but at the same time.. theres as many guys as there are dancers

I'm moving out to Vegas next year and would really like to start working then, but I won't be 21 for a couple years so... Could you reccomend any nude clubs to work at?
I keep telling myself I'll take a working vacation out there, and then never get around to it. I guess my concern/question is what the hustle is like. I do best with the sit-and-talk hustle, when I can find one or two customers who find me entertaining, I can get them to spend large ammounts of money on me. The one time I was at a club in Vegas, it looked very wanna-dancey, but this was just my impression of course. I'm sure it varies from club to club.

Guen, with this odd trend to put "burlesques" and "ultra-lounges" like Tangerine and Tabu in Casinos, any dancers finding it hard to make the shift from getting a sherrifs card to getting a casino license? (Or is it worth it to even make the shift?)
Any concern that these Tangerines and Tabus and whatnots are hitting business?

Ok. I was hoping they didn't affect each other. I was worried that the person who came to Vegas to gamble and go to a club would say, why leave the casino to go to a club when there's one right here? thus affecting the business of SC's outside the walls of the casinos.Originally Posted by Guenevere
While I knew that Tabu and Tangerine were different kinds of places from those outside the walls, they are closer to the casinos and casinos are, still, what keep Vegas rolling along. I was worried that Tabu and the like were changing the old custy of Spearmint Rhino into a custy of Tabu, because such custy was too lazy to leave the casino.

I dunno, Vegas was a major adjustment for me. The clubs were busier and it was a completely different breed of customer from what I'm used to. More drugs, more drinking, and definitely more solicitation. EVERYONE assumed I was a cokehead prostitute. Everyone wanted higher mileage too. I found it pretty stressful and made the same kind of money I would've made in SoCal. I'm thinking of going back and trying a different club though. I only worked at Striptease and I liked the club but not the customers, and I got pretty stressed out.

Secretly I think she IS SuperStripper v2.0![]()

SuperStripper v2.0. Hehe.
The only difference I saw in Vegas was the girls handled more "packages" than UPS.
vegas is great in that you don't have a schedule and come and go freely at most clubs....I like that aspect a lot. I just hated livingin the desert when I was out there! And all the houses look exactly the same-stucco cookie cutters.
I love the bay area but dancing out here is crap....
Yeah, I am definitely more accustomed to dancing nude than topless, but I danced nude with alcohol in Oregon and I loved it. It wasn't the alcohol. I think it was just the Vegas mentality that a lot of guys get. Occasionally here in California I get guys who live in Vegas, and they are ALL more trouble than they're worth. I never thought I'd find any city more cutthroat and sleazy than Los Angeles, but I found it in Vegas. You kinda have to like it for that though, in small doses.
When does the busy season start back?
I'm glad to see you noticed pretty quick, I enjoyed alot about that place but as I said before....be careful who you trust!!!
Vegas is a whole different breed. I grew up here and most of my friends were born and raised here. You either love it or you hate it. I left for awhile to live in a few other places and even I was culture shocked when I returned. I'm used to it again now though.
Anyway, I'll be back to work next week if any one wants to meet up, P.M. me.

I am so utterly skeeert of Vegas LOL

I worry when I cant go see a club before workin there, yanno? Egads.
How much should I save up to put down on a place to stay at first?
If they bill me as a feature, I'll still be working like a house dancer? LDs, etc?
Will they want me to bring merchandise?
How active and athletic are the girls normally on stage?
Is it gonna be bad that I dont do pole tricks or splits?
Do these clubs normally expect tip out before or after working the shift?
How's transportation out there or should I try to drive out?
Is it really super swamped with girls during these convention seasons?
Whats a bad night like, cash wise?
Egads....

A bad night in Vegas is not making your payout back. And with the wrong clientele, or not enough customers and too many girls, that can happen more easily than you think. And it can happen on consecutive nights.
