i'm not sure if this belongs here or in club chat but...
i'm feeling really torn over whether to stay at my club or go to another one in the area. i know most clubs are slow right now, but mine has been really bad. and it isn't just because of the time of year. the owner is old and has been letting things go. he's stuck in his ways and won't listen to reason.
i've also had some issues recently with negligent bouncers and difficult djs.
the customers, over all, are getting cheaper and ruder every week. getting a $1 for a dance is a daily occurance for all othe girls. even when i do make a decent amount of money, i tend to leave in a bad mood.
on the other hand, i like the girls i work with a lot. and 2 of the 3 dj's are great. it's a very comfortable environment for me. i've got some decent regulars.
the club i am thinking of going to is as close to a guarenteed increase in income as you can get in this business. they actually have minimum dance prices and private rooms. it's slightly higher mileage, but that doesn't bother me. and, because the customers get more contact and have a lot more girls to choose from, the other club is (from what my reputable sources tell me) always a lot busier than ours.
i can't work both places bcs the current club prohibits us from working other clubs in the area. plus there is a serious rivalry between these 2 clubs. if i leave mine to work at the other, even if i am nice about it, i still may find some bridges burnt.
the thing is, i really need the money to get back home and if things don't change at my current club it is going to take me a hell of a long time to save it all up.
nearly every night after i leave work i decide to leave for good. but then, by the next morning, i start to feel unsure about it.
so i'm going to check out the other club tonight...but what would you girls do?
