this belongs in the body section.

I believe it's possible to get pregnant at any time, even on your period. But, if you have had your period, I believe you're good, I would check with a pregnancy test in a few days if you really believe you may be though. You can have early pregnancy bleeding which may seem like a period, but it is rare.

You're probably safe if you started. You can get pregnant two days before your period but it's alot harder that time of the month. And if you started...

Well, no, because if you started your period, you're not pregnant. It's possible to get preggers 2 days before your expected start date, but once you start...assuming it's the same as normal and not light spotting (which could be conception bleeding), and assumoing you're not on the pill (because that's not a real period anyways)...by definition, no, it's not possible.

Actually, it is impossible to have a "period" and be pregnant. When you ovulate, and prepare to become pregnant, the uterine lining thickens, preparing for implantation. When this does not occur, the lining sheds, and you have a period. You cannot have a period if you are pregnant because your uterine lining is not shedding, it stays in the thickened state to hold the implanted embryo.
It is common to have some bleeding in the eary stages of pregnancy that can be mistaken for a period. Usually, this bleeding is much lighter than a normal period and doesn't last as long.
Normally, a women ovulates on about day 14 of her cycle, the cycle starting on the first day of your period. This is why it is very rare to get pregnant 2 days before your period, becaue you should technicially not be fertile anymore, however, every women is different, and it is possible to ovulate at different times of the month. This is why it is possible to get pregnant on your period, because you could ovulate a few days after your period is finished, and sperm can stay in the body for 4 days.
Generally speaking, I wouldnt be to concerned of getting pregnant right before your period, but if thsi period was very light or short, take a test. If next months period is late, take a test.

You said GENERALLY it's lighter. Women can experience a full on 'period' while pregnant. Every month, like clockwork, and similarily heavy.
