Default Exhaustion mentally and physically from working out.

I don't work out but whenever i do, i find that recovery takes a long time and I end up not being productive in other areas of my life. I've been working out regualrly for 6 weeks but it seems like my body is out of balance. I try eating properly with the right nutrition but I don't seem to be able to focus on anything else after i work out because I'm tired. I do eat as much as my body wants after my workouts so I'm not starving myself either. I think I'm also depressed from my body being shocked by suddenly working out 3X a week for about 1.5 hrs hardcore. I don't know if this is a rare thing I'm going through but I'm going to try to keep going because it's just going to get harder with age right?

Are there special nutritional supplements that can help make me feel less moody?

Sometimes going through a workout burnout is typical. You can analyse other areas of your life that may be affecting your mood.

I suggest that you change your workout. Six weeks with the same workout would burn me out too! Take your workout outside....try some different sports. Or if youd dont have time to go outside and explore new sports then change your cardio routine and types of wieght training exercises you do.
Changing your diet too will help. Instead of the same breakfast you have discover some new healthy options - then cook em. Make your food look pretty. Yes, I know that sounds dumb but itll make you feel excited and proud you made it. Have a healthy recipe day where you try a new dinner or something. Kinda of like getting excited again to try that new workout or try that new recipe will keep you going.

That'd be yes. Actually, for men, not everything gets harder.

Definitely give B-complex a try. I've been taking some for several months (thanks to a post found on this site, in fact) and my energy level is definitely better. This enabled me to get back into regular excercise, which helped with the energy level, too.

I think you just have to learn how to enjoy the "good" kind of exhaustion that comes from riding yourself hard. I've come to crave that feeling... for me, it feels like I'm using every day of my life to its fullest advantage if I'm really, really ready for bed by the time I crash.

I don't know if you're talking about something that could possibly be a health problem, though, so if you're really that tired, ignore this!

You might be working out too hard but not often enough to get used to it.

you mentioned you are new to excersice, yet you are doing 1.5 hour "hardcore" workouts. Maybe you should drop it down for a bit. 30-45 minutes 3-4 times a week is better for starting out. When I first started working out I felt the same way: shakey all day and like I was hit by a truck. I just had to gradually get myself back into it.
