    Money Logging

Is there any particular software you guys use to keep track of your money? I've been wanting to do this, but wasn't sure what program to get. Something compatibile with Mac with would be best. Thanks in advance for you help.

You probably already have Quicken pre-loaded on your mac. That's what I use on mine.

excel works fine for me. I downloaded a calendar template and filled in what i made everynight. For expenses I just add in another page.

I use Microsoft Money. It updates stuff for me and everything. I would think Quicken would work in similar ways.

I'm going to get Microsoft money.. who else has it? Is it worth the money? I need to set up a budget, keep track of paychecks, bills ect.

Yea to me its worth it. I dont love to add and subtract and divide. It shows you how much you spent on something in a percentage and it lets me know if Im over spending. Helps me make a savings. Just a few things I like about it. When I bought my new computer it already had it in installed.

I use Excel on my Mac. I store the data on my HD and a jump drive.

I also write down my earnings on 2 mini-calendars. One is kept in my locker. The other is in a fireproof lockbox in my room.

So basically I have 4 copies of what I earn. It may seem like overkill, but hey, last year I lost the 2 copies of my earnings record and it was HELL to figure out what I earned so that I could happily, joyfully, gleefully pay appropriate taxes.
