Default Customer you really don't enjoy dancing for, but you do

I know, sounds obvious. If you really didn't like dancing for him, you wouldn't right? Well maybe. But do you have a customer - one you've danced for on several occasions - who you'd REALLY rather not dance for. But maybe he spends a lot of $ on you, or you hate to lose a regular because there's some money you can always count on, or whatever. Whatever the reason, you'd really rather not dance for him, but you grit your teeth and do it anyway.

All the ones who talk too much, are disrespectful/ want to touch, or ask me out. Also, anyone who's cheap. I love the guys who buy dance.dance.dance.dance.dance. rest and chat.dance.dance.dance, and so on, untill close

I generally don't waste my time on someone I'm not able to enjoy in any way. I usually find something I can enjoy about all of them (I can't really sell it otherwise), but if he's an asshole, too grabby/pushy, too dirty/stinky, etc, I just leave. I've got better things to do. Besides, it's supposed to be a pleasant experience, and I can't really provide that if I'm pissed off or grossed out.

Finally, a large part of the reason I like this job so much is the freedom to do what I want. Including choose with whom I do business. If I just sucked it up and dealt with any jerkoff waving a dollar, I'd go nuts - and I might as well use that education and business experience and work a regular job that pays well and offers benefits!

I actually have a couple of "stripper friends" that I won't dance with and they won't dance for me either, it feels too weird and awkward for them and me knowing that we are mutual mostly "platonic friends" ITC & OTC. I'm no longer have the dubious distinction of being labled a "custie" to them... I'll still buy em drinks and prospect for good "customers" for them to make $$. Kind of like a friend "pimp daddy" with no lovin! LOL .

we have a regular at my club who comes in every single lunch shift. he's icky. he smells funny. has a huge beard and long hair that do not appear to be especially well groomed. he breaths hot steamy breath in your face. and says things like, "oooh, ohh yeah. now touch yourself for me until you climax" climax?!? wtf.

anyway, i hate dancing for him and he doesn't even tip that well, but he's the sort of guy who will never turn down a dance and lunches have been so painfully slow lately that i usually suck it up and give him a few dances.

What a great answer! I expected most of the comments to be more like "I can't stand any of these jerks".

Most of the time I'm at least neutral...if I'm REALLY that bothered by someone I wont dance for them.

We had one guy at one of my clubs...while you were dancing for him he would moan and groan ...then wrap his arms around you and say "I'm so scared...I'm so scared..."...WTF?? EVERY time..with EVERY girl. HE wasnt retarded as far as we know...in his 60's I'd guess....seemed knd of normal just talking to him...but would freak out when you danced. Kept buying dances thugh...and was actually hard to not laugh...it was just so absurd...
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

I have one guy that somes in every Sunday. He always smells funny and wears the same dirty flannel jacket-even when it's 90 degrees outside! He's creepy looking; balding, coke bottle glasses... I used to spend time talking to him but I got tired of playing repeater. I'd ask, after general convo- "would you like to go dance with me?" and he'd sit there for what seemed like 30 seconds and then say... "Um, what?" repeat myself- "um, ok, but I know you want to go dance with that guy over there (point)" I'd have to tell him, no, I asked you cos I want to dance for you, not that guy. He'll usually wait until the end of the night when we have power hour and get a few dances. He'll always say during the dance, "you know I would never hurt you, right?" Creepy. Saying goodbye to him is even worse cos he's a clinger when you hug him. He's usually my last customer of the night so I feel like I can smell him on me when I leave- yeck. Oh great, tomorrow is Sunday. Wonderful.

Ditto. I have neutral or positive feelings for 90% of the customers I dance for. It's harder to sell someone you genuinely don't like. Besides, if you're giving me money then there's at least thing I like about you already.

I did once have a customer who wanted to be my regular and came in to see me a few times, but was so grabby and dull and patronizing that after a few visits I stopped answering his e-mails to let him know when I would be working. It was a tough call, because the club I was working at at the time was so slow, and he spent decent money on me, but finally I just couldn't take it anymore.
