If you are an Isometric type of person, it would suck to pay a weight-trainer or cardio-trainer because you will not be happy...nor will you be likely to enjoy the workouts and continue them.
How does the trainer keep track of your progress?
How often does the trainer change up the routine? --Joe's sister has been going to a trainer for over a month and in that entire time of going 3 days a week, the trainer has her doing the exact same thing at the exact same weight. She was pissed that she's not seeing results...and she won't if her trainer doesn't up the weight...change out the routine. With weights, you should be upping your weights by 2.5 - 5 lbs PER WEEK (on average).
