    Default medical insurance dilemma :(

I dont have a car anymore. Im 7 mos. prego. Im gonna be out of work soon, and Im on my own. I have military insurance. The only place I pay NO out of pocket expenses is at Navy hospital...about 30 miles from here. If i switch to Tricare standard, i can continue to be seen at the public hospital.... 2 miles away...less cab fare, but have to pay out of pocket expenses and deductibles.
What do i do?? I dont wanna switch hospitals.

yes i have Tricare Prime....but West Florida Hospital (where ive only been seen once but llove my doc.) only accepts Tricare Standard. I wanna keep Prime, which means Im gonna have to pay an arm and a leg for a cab to go to PNH.

My "so called" friends who have cars seem to have forgot all the times I gave them a ride when they have no transportation.

Hmm... that's strange that they only accept the Standard. I had Prime until a few months ago and didn't have any problems.
I'd keep the Prime, with the money you'll save from deductibles and co-pays (not just from the pregnancy but in general) you should easily be able to make the cab fare. God, it was so nice to fill RXs with Tricare Prime.... I think the most I ever paid was $3.

It might be a major pain in the ass, especially being preggers, but how about buses?

Busses dont run around this area, even though i live near a college campus.
Yes thats great about filling RX I paid usually about $6 each time, awesome.
I guess Ill keep Prime, but i really liked my doctor. With that being my first prenatal visit during my 7mos. i got comfy meeting a good doc, and now I gotta switch again? O well, I need the money. Dunno how Im gonna pay my bills being out of work, so i need to save on co pays and stuff.
