IMO, all boots look better if you have some muscle on your legs. If your legs are really slender, boots without laces just kind of flap around and make you look like you're wearing those rubber boot-pants things (waders?) that fisherman wear. It drove me CRAZY when the slim girls wore these enormous zip-up boots that were so much bulkier and bigger in circumference than their legs. (I'm not crazy about boots with laces either, they're not all that classy. But they are more adjustable and avoid the enormous boot/tiny-legged stripper eyesore.)

That said, if you've got the body to pull them off, the black boots are sexy as hell. I'm not too keen on the clear platforms on the red ones. I like thigh-high boots better than knee-high ones if they fit right, because I think it's super hot when a girl is wearing nothing but tall boots and jewelry (and a thong, depending on the club).

Thigh boots are SO ugly. On everyone.

If you have great legs, why cover them up with boots?

My Knees were so bruised, and i felt real pain the night after my first stage show. I thin knee boots will be perfect for this........

I like to be on my knees alot while dancing, so this helped my slip and slide all around the stage on my knees without the pain.

Not a fan of thigh-boots. I'd go with the knee-high ones.

I'm not really a fan of knee high boots....they kinda cut ones legs in half....making you appear shorter.
I have some thigh high boots but i'm yet to wear them.

I'll wear thigh high boots when I'm bruised or when I'm doing a fetishy set. I think they look better if you dont have very thick thighs though....

I had extra-bruisey legs last week, and used the Sally Hansen airbrush legs. It worked OK- it rubbed off a bit on my clothes, and was a bitch to wash off at night, but covered my bruises enough that I didn't look like a crack ho.

I hear you though, I'm pretty much perma-bruised on the legs and knees. Still refuse to wear thigh-high boots.

well even if i could just have the knee high stockings this would have helped my slide alot more and bruise less, but the other veteren dancers begged an pleaded with me to remove the stocking and put on boots.

wish i could have made knee pads look sexxy, i would have definatly given that a try as much pain as i was expieriencing, (Not really) but i pushed on anyways....

i couldnt hardly walk for a week after that night.

It really depends on the person. I have worn knee-high boots on occasion, but I've seen both styles rock in my club. It really depends on your style of dress, body type, and height. Go to a store try both styles on, but make sure you do a 360 degree spin in them to know what looks best and keep in mind what you'll be wearing it with.

Even with knee-high boots, I still struggle to do spins and knee release moves on the pole due to the friction -- thigh-high boots would be impossible. Yes, both styles are good for climbing, but you can still bang up your leg if you're not careful.

I also have worn ankle boots which IMO is the best option out of the three because it's as close to wearing a sandle, but you're wearing a boot. The only problem I have is that I haven't found a brand that sticks to the pole quite like my knee-high boots and for some reason they're not as comfortable and put more stress on my ankles.

If you have thick legs and ANY fat at all, those black ones you linked to will make your legs look like sausages sticking out the top of the boots. I think those particular kind of boots look best on skinnier girls, or girls with like zero fat on their thighs.

I think the zip up thigh boots look best on girls with thicker legs. And I like the look of lace-ups too, and they can be adjusted to fit most anyone. Lots of guys think thigh boots are fucken sexy - and since we're trying to seduce men out of their money, boots are great! Of any height.

I dunno, I think maybe alot of you younger girls just don't know where it's at with sexy fashion Guys are always telling me how fucken sexy I dress, while the girls are looking at me sideways and going, "wtf is she wearing???" We dress for the guys at work, not the girls

Glamgirl, I'd go with the thigh boots, but in zipup or laceup, since you say your legs are muscular, which means they're probably a little thicker...

Bridgette- you are absolutely right about that! My went shopping with my husband. He pointed out an outfit, I debated between getting that and something else. Thankfully I went with his choice and it was a hit!

I'm letting him pick my outfits out from now on!

I think thigh-highs are incredibly sexy. All dancers can wear regular sandals, but not all can 'work' thigh boots.

I have very long legs, but I know guys are intimidated by my height. Should I buy thigh highs or just stick to regular platform sandals?

If only we could all have a guy with good taste to go with us whenever we go shopping!!

I think thigh boots look good on tall girls because their legs are so long it kinda evens things out, for lack of a better expression.

Yall ever notice how some things that you think are soooo hot, the guys don't seem to like? Or you don't seem to do well in certain outfits that YOU thought were great? OR that you seem to do really well in outfits you don't particularly like? That's because men and women think different things are sexy.

I couldn't possibly advise whether the boots will make you money being tall and long-legged, but as a general rule the guys seem to love them on anyone! I hear comments all the time when there's a girl wearing boots, about how sexy they are.

And, don't you also get alot of customers because of your height? I know I see alot of guys going for the tall girls, just because they're tall. We can't please them all so might as well work what we've got. I would at least try the boots. If you can take your man with you to try on some boots, do it. Or borrow some for a shift or two if you can.

Because it's not about the legs; it's about the visual stimulation that comes from the boot material and the way it wraps around the leg and moves with the walk, particularly when worn in conjunction with an outfit that complements the boots. It's a very different image--and feeling--when you see a nice leg encased in a leather/PVC/vinyl boot with an outfit that enhances that look. It's a very mentally stimulating look, because boots unmistakably convey sex and/or power, depending on the girl wearing them, irrespective of the circumstances (i.e., not just in the SC). The way a booted leg feels on skin is also very pleasant for those of us that have material preferences based on a tactile response. Fetishy? Sure, but there's lots of us with Y chromosomes out there that are drawn to that look and are willing to pay for it.

I haven't been dancing for very long- so I'm not that good of a hustler yet. I haven't been approaching every guy in the club- but this past weekend 3 guys told me that I look great but other men are intimidated...especially when I'm on the super high stage in the club.

I don't want to wear 4 inch heels like some other girls because I love platforms- but I've been thinking about it.

I'm five eleven in my socks.

I am petite, 5'3 1/2"-5'4", and the black vinyl zip-up knee length boots work best for me.

Knee socks are always good too; rock it with a schoolgirl or other appropriate outfit. A roller girl type outfit works and there are others I can't think of right now. Brain isn't fully on yet...

Pleasure, I could be wrong here, but I don't think your height is as much a problem as you think it is. I've worked with girls your height (and taller) before and they all banked! And they wore tall heels. There are two tall hotties at my Phx club now who always make great money.

I think your own self-confidence is probably the biggest issue. Realize that many men fantasize about crawling on/up a tall hottie, and use it to your advantage. Hell, I'd probably even try to accentuate it if I were that tall! Most people want to be taller! Work it girl!!
